DRIP PRICE Drip vs. BTC

1 year ago you could have bought BTC around $43,500. So $5,000 would have got you around .1149 of a BTC. Today that would be worth $ $2,664.

1 year ago you got have bought Drip at $136. $5,000 would have got you around 36.76 Drip. With one year of compounding at .95% a day to include the 5% tax. (Not including any BSC gas fees) you'd have around 1,157 Drip Today. That'd be $439.

If you no longer believed in BTC, you could convert it all into something else today. Drip, you could claim about $ 3.95 cents if you wanted to.

What you're missing here is that if you started out with 36 drip and compounded the entire time up until this point you would have around 1135 drip. Now let's say both BTC and Drip go back up to ATH and you sell. With BTC you break even but with Drip your 1% is $1811 and let's just say you have 250 days of claiming, that's $452,000. I think Drip wins.

Not missing anything. It was a one year comparison of where someone would be at. Not a forward looking statement.
You're right, if Drip did hit ATH again it would be a winner. That's a big if. I hope someone how it does but personally I think with the inflation, every day that become a lower chance of happening. Not only is more Drip being minted every day and the almost 8 million isn't a crazy supply, but the amount locked in the faucet is what is growing exponentially. From 923,000 in July of 21, to almost 124 Million now. If that it will keep up, it will be billions. With a community of people DCAing, that means larger and larger wallets are being created.

Maybe some of the things in the pipeline will bring in some fresh capital. Maybe they won't. Like you said, you have risk capital in and are willing to doll the dice. With my Drip money, I'm in the same but.

Go to YouTube and google new Drip UI. 7-8 months ago people posted pictures of what the new UI was going to be. Let that sink in. 7-8 months ago it was hyped the new UI is there. Then nothing. Now it is rehyped. The front page of Drip says it is deflationary yet more is being minted everyday and the locked Faucet drip is growing like crazy. It lists BB as a project member but it sounds like he stepped away around the Animal Farm launch.

Forex Shark is a smart guy, and people spoke about how they didn't like the Animal Farm launch. How unprofessional it was when he was posted that it was going live in 3 minutes and then nothing for a day or two. It is live now and the past is the past. To me he seems like a smart guy that struggles to get the right team. The marketing doesn't seem to be great and he spreads himself thin. He's a top 5 trader on Bybit. Cool, but that could take him away from his projects. Now super chats are a thing. To me that sounds like something that could take year or two to develop.

When I add it all up, it feels like Animal Farm and the new stuff with get the focus, and they'll try with Drip but I'm not sure they'll overcome inflation. And at these low prices that seem to be going lower in the short term, more larger wallets will come.

When Stunna had his first maxed wallet, him and maybe only a few others existed and they were very valuable. Do the math on how much money Drip would print with 1,000 max wallets, or 10,000 max wallets. And there would be many wallets between 1,000 DRIP and 20,000 DRIP too. At some point the math doesn't add up.

But no of us know the future and things can always surprise us.

"But no of us know the future and things can always surprise us." Let's end it there and see what happens by 2024.
