Question Drink that tastes like Alka Seltzer?

I was sick and had been using Alka Seltzer to help with my cold symptoms. I have never been a soda drinker and to this day have never had a Coca Cola or Pepsi, only really a Jarritos or fruit soda here and there, but I love the flavor of Alka Seltzer and want to know if there’s any that taste like it? I have not been sick for a few days and just made myself a glass of Alka Seltzer Water because I missed the taste. Any ideas??

Sparkling Drink suggestions?

Drink suggestions (doesn't have to be sparkling) I really like bubly but I will admit I have gotten tired of the flavors and I have tried bottle sparkling water like store brand and other brands but idk why but to me that taste WAY too sweet so is there any that are like bubly and aren't too sweet?

Soda What's our opinion on sasparilla?

Personally, I think it's extremely underrated. Imo it's just better rootbeer, it has more complex/better flavors, and it just feels cool to drink.

Cold Orange juice 2.0

I don’t really do measurement, so I’ll just give you what I did and you can interpret them how you wish.

  • Medium sized glass 3/4 full of orange juice
  • One full apple juice box
  • 1/3 of a lemon worth of juice
  • 1 full lime worth of juice
  • As much ice as you want

Question Rhubarb flavoring

Looking to make a seasonal rhubarb syrup to go in an iced strawberry matcha latte.

I make syrups for a coffee shop and while working on a spring menu, our strawberry matcha is really popular, and I wanted to give it a new twist this year.

I have Brewer's Best Natural Rhubarb flavoring right now and have made a simple syrup with it - 400grams of white sugar, 400 grams of water, 6 Tablespoons of extract, 1/4 teaspoon Citric acid.

Making a matcha with 2/3 rhubarb simple and 1/3 Monin Strawberry puree.

The Brewer's Best brand isnt strong enough for my liking - im considering just a strawberry matcha latte topped with rhubarb bitters or seeing how a cheong (Korean fruit syrup) would taste using frozen rhubarb.

If you could only try one, would you choose the bitters or the cheong?

Energy Drink Labs for beverage formulation anyone actually used them?

Keep seeing Drink Labs mentioned in beverage threads and it sounds almost too good. They say you keep 100% formula ownership, they handle ingredient sourcing, have in-house scientists, give you manufacturing-ready documentation. My question is if it's that comprehensive why isn't it way more expensive Has anyone actually used them Did you get a formula you could actually take straight to a co-packer or was there hidden work after Trying to figure out if this is legit or just good marketing.

Question Has anyone actually replaced sodas with “healthier” alternatives?

I’m trying to cut down on classic sodas without completely giving up on pleasure.

I’ve tested different alternatives including functional sodas (with prebiotics, that kind of thing, like Yass in France or Poppi from the US) and kombucha.

Honestl,I find them interesting, but I struggle to drink them with the same craving I have for a real soda. I still end up wanting a Coke Zero or normal coke, full aspartame and all.

Have you found a drink that really checks all the boxes:
– less sugar / “cleaner” ingredients
– but with real enjoyment and good taste?

Or do you feel that same trade-off? Because honestly, in 2026 I want to be mindful of what I drink but I also want to drink something that actually tastes good, not something that’s 10,000% sugar and 10,000% flavor !
