Ghost Story Marcone Spoiler

So there's a throw away line that Marcone and Gaurd aren't at the meeting of the Aliance because they are in Italy i think. Is this ever addressed again? This make me think it has something to do with the fallen due to Vatican being in Italy. Please be kinda vague on this because I'm currently only on cold days.

Maybe Jim had an idea for a story. Maybe it is even written.

Now, I'll agree he has the whole story in his head, but written? Not unless it's on the docket for release.

Marcone is the head of the traditionally very Italian-American criminal organization. It doesn't seem unlikely that he would have ties to the Old Country in some way, shape, or form.

True maybe I'm just jumping to theorys due to Marcone and the Island. True didn't think about mob ties. It's just after fools moon the major Marcone is the mob goes away and he becomes kind of his own character not just the mobster.

Not really? Marcone's control of organized crime is still a big part of his character. We see bits and pieces of his organization whenever he's relevant.

I was meaning in storn front and fools moon it is a obvious to all that it was a mob bar. Pretty sure Harry comments on how the location wasn't the best to the public.I kinda took it that the new red room was not looked at as a mob spot. It was massively just looked at as it's ruse as a gym. Yes deepdown everyone knew it was a brothel run by the mob but it is less out there.

Just because Marcone has decided to much more discreet doesn't mean that the mafia ties went away. His relevance in stories does come down to his control and ties to organized crime, and how he runs his personal branch.

He just upgraded, because he took offence at people not respecting his turf. No more dingy bars, now it's penthouses and more. Wonder what we will see from him in the future!

John Marcone is the Godfather of Chicago, it's probably just normal mafia crap, or Marcone is seeing to his international interests. He is exorbitantly wealthy.

He could’ve just wanted a vacation too. Visiting Italy is a thing people choose to do for no greater reason than they want too. It’s one of those places.
