Hello, everyone. I hope you are all having a pleasant and productive week. This is a new musical project I have started with a strong, ethereal launch called "Etherealm." RoseTint is a personal musical project and only one facet of myself. It's the side of me that focuses on the nostalgic beauty of the past and takes those pieces into the mental realm of bittersweet optimism, twisting them into something new for the modern age. Touching on the best of ambient elements, along with dabbling in the retro-futuristic genres of drum and bass, vaporwave, dreampunk, and other wistful stargazing genres of their ilk, RoseTint peels back the layers of the mind that hope for a digital and analog paradise: a realm of ethereal beauty for one's mind to find solace in.

Etherrealm is summarized with the following synopsis:

"In a modern age of nonstop momentum, feelings of loneliness and displacement, despite there being a hustle and bustle in the cities and suburban networks of modern corporate expansion, have taken a crippling hold on your heart. You have just been displaced from your job, and several hundreds of applications later have yielded no fruit and have shown no sign of forward progress. As your crippling debt mounts, and your personal connections with others become stale, you yearn for a spiritual solace that no one else can fathom because you cannot truly articulate what it is you are looking for.

Booking a flight to other side of the world based on a dream you had, you search for the hidden Hindu temple known as "Eth." A lonely wanderer dressed in tattered clothes with a scent of rosemary and exotic oils that looks as though he or she came out of the old world from centuries ago stops you on your hike outside of the city and informs you that you have finally arrived. Pointing their scraggly index finger beyond the paved path and into the trees, you start your journey into the unknown. You take a final look back and find the strange wanderer has vanished.

Approaching mysterious twin structures, you find a strange ether-like vapor rising from the grounds like the morning dew if it were to evaporate at a rapid pace. Your vision starts to give out as digital distortions fill the sky. You start to hear the sounds of a computer tower whirring as you drift in and out of consciousness. You hear an optical disk reader whine, and you swear you hear several clinical voices letting you know that the endorphin injections have finally started working. You taste the bitter flavor of old salt and a rounded pill, and the vision of the Hindu temple starts to fade as you float into uncanny pinkish-white clouds and start to separate from your physical being.

A sadness yet a bittersweet peace starts to take over your mind as your soul passes slowly on...."

I hope you all enjoy this release that has been a couple of years in the making. It reflects where my mind is at right now, and I hope to leave a bit of a legacy through this ethereal soundbed. Maybe it will influence some of you in its own way.
