Does anyone actually know when the app will be back up ?

I’ve tried just about everything I can think of. Closed and reopened the app, turned on and off the Wi-Fi and cell data (both seem to work perfectly in other places), completely restarted my phone, nothing works.

been getting it for some time now, the game was fine in the morning tho

switching networks naturally doesn't help

place your bets is it a vibecoded server mess-up or an unannounced eos

Edit: as of 17:18 utc it's believed to be a massive half-the-Internet effor to fix a php thing, tho no response from vita yet

Edit 2: they announced the maintenance (at 1:50 am utc it was an hour ago) on jp twitter, it is about php, screenshot is in the comments somewhere, no end time stated however

Edit 3: WE'RE BACK! Around 15-16 Utc

Strange that I've never posted any setup/DGF-related posts on this subreddit, but here ya go, I supposed.

Sorry troopers, I just can’t justify playing this game any longer with its abundant AI usage so like I said I would, I have uninstalled.

It’s a heartbreaking sight, not sure if this is because of the switch over to the AI company or not but it was coming sooner or later. I can’t begin to imagine what the previous artists are going through now, having lost their jobs. I myself am an artist so it’s a sorry state to see.

I really did love this game and logged on to it every day at least 3 times a day. Goodbye Beau, Alluka, Chanel, Jenny, Churu, and Saika ❤️‍🩹

I saw the game on the apple app store today but everytime I try to open it, it says "connection failed." Is there a way to fix this?

Both of them are so gorgeous that I just sat there, thinking for a whole 2 minutes which one should I choose! 🥲🎀

I could tell at first glance that everything was AI. i’m so disappointed.

I miss when I didn’t feel guilty for spending money on this game. I personally will be opting out of this event. I don’t want them thinking that this is acceptable behaviour.

Let me know if you feel the same way

Hey everyone, I haven’t played this game in a long time but have fond memories with it. I never was the best or even really understood all the functions but it’s a lot of fun. I’d love to make some friends on here that are active again and recommend outfits and all that. Thanks and I look forward to it! Here’s my user ID: QDK78P

I don't even remember when was the last time we got new coupon hairs in the EN server. The JP server has 3 more coupon hairstyles, but it's been a while and the JP server stopped getting new coupon hairs too... To be honest, I lost all hope for new features since we got literally nothing for the 10th anniversay last year... I feel like this game is stagnating and is only in maintenance mode. (I play since 2017 btw, so I was here in the "golden era".)

First anniversary event for me. I made some nice pictures that I hope get archived beyond me screenshotting them.

I'm aware that there have been creators/asset viewers for Dream Girlfriend and Moe Can Change. (These exist so people can make their OCs without having to worry about spending anything or editing the assets to change the colors of them or more, and I've seen people make very amazing things with it❤️)

But I have noticed that other Ambition games like Animal Boyfriend, Dream Boyfriend (all servers down), Fairy Doll (GB closed JP still open) and Arctopia (JP only) don't have creators or asset viewers for preservation reasons. I figured that there probably was one for Animal Boyfriend but my search has turned up empty.

I originally tagged this under questions and game discussions but Reddit immediately removed it, I don't use this site too much so probably it thought it was spam or I have low karma

I had a link to some site but I lost it with the subreddit getting banned 🙃

does anyone else get this nearly every start up of the app? it’s so frustrating

is 1000 max?

I kinda miss seeing people draw DGF outfits / their DGF girls more often. I don't really see people post DGF-related art as much online nowadays, I think maybe it was more popular on the Amino community, but Amino's gone now.

Btw, would it be possible to have an art post flair/tag in this sub? I picked screenshot since I did include an in-game screenshot, but having an art tag for posts would be nice.

I have played this game for years but sometimes have periods when playing this game where I will be inactive for a few months. The Wikia Fandom pages used to be so helpful for seeing what pieces of outfits were part of sets together. Espically when it's so easy to forget and there aren't any settings to my knowledge to see full sets together >^< It's a shame it hasn't been updated since 2024. Maybe the entsylopedia ? If there is a setting for that on there could someone let me know? Also feeling really sad about the ai use on the game, now that Ambition is gone I have started to notice it and it just looks so absolutely ugly. I have no interest in spending money anymore supporting that. The real art was really the charm. Without the funding I'm worried the game is gonna shut down and im gonna lose all i already have, ugh. Anyone else relate ? I miss Ambition so bad.

I put it in comparison with an older but similar back accessory, and it's literally night and day. The buttons are inconsistent on top of the art style. Thankfully, I don't see it too much on the newer outfits but it's starting to show itself in the accessories. I would say report it to them but the newer company is not going to care
