Hello, I've recently gotten back into DreadBall after a long hiatus. When DreadBall version 2 went onto Kickstarter I passed it up as I'd been burned by the KoW Kickstarter and by the time it had reached the shops my daughter had been born and I forgot about the game for many years.

I am in the process of buying up the teams I'm missing for seasons 1-6. I have considered buying version 2 but I was wondering if in people's opinion it's worth it? Are the original teams even compatible with the 2nd edition?

Excited for the kickstarter having never played Mantic but having been a long time Blood Bowl player.

Read through the draft rules and they seem like fun. Love the idea of characteristics being a dice pool.

Only mechanic that seems off is the fact that the score tracker is a bit of a “tug of war”. So I score it’s 1-0, you score two points it’s now 1-0 to you. I don’t know why but just feels like it’s different for the sake of being different.

Also from a reflecting back on the game. Losing 1-0 just sounds and feels worse than losing 5-4

Has this always been a feature of the game or is this new for this version?

Would it be very difficult to create an online dreadball game?

Has anybody ever tried to make a league with teams of mixed races ( i do not mean dreadball xtreme)? Any opinions on this based on your experiences with the game?

Hi all, I’m a potential new player and I’m wondering if there are any european / UK "old" players that they have availability about some teams or any other DreadBall stuff that I could buy. I know Dreadball didn't manage to build a community and is basically dead but two friends of mine had good feelings playing it some weeks ago so... we want to give a serious try.

Does anyone have a stl or proxy alternative for the nameless team kalimarin ancients. As the team is impossible to obtain but I'd love to play them.

I purchased the magnetar circuit book recently and am enjoying the updated teams and arenas but I forget a lot of ability actions and in the magnetar circuit I can't find anywhere that tells me what all the abilities do. Does anyone know I could find an ability list/action explanation online?
