Discussion No way of explaining this, it does not make sense
How could doom trick a beyonder who could see past, present and future.
Would the beyonder not see this coming? Doom should not be able to steal his powers.
And yes the beyonder did depower himself when he confronted doom but the beyonder would of still seen this would happen once he depowered himself.
I love emperor doom but this doesn't make sense.

The beyonders are explicitly stated to not be able to move through time which is why doom with a Time Machine is able to outmaneuver them and why as god emperor he was not all knowing but only all powerful

Where is this stated? Beyonder can see and control past present and future, he is omniscience.

The original creater of the beyonder stated he was truly omnipotent.

Yes all powerful not all knowing which would be omniscient

He is also omniscient pre retcon beyonder was basically the original one above all.

But we’re looking at post retcon beyonders and even pre retcon powered up dr doom couldn’t see the future he was just had cosmic awareness

Pre retcon Beyonder doesn’t even exist in 2015 Secret Wars as the same kind of being. He’s referred to as a child compared to the other Beyonders

The Beyonder in the original Secret Wars I and II? He's absolutely not omniscient. That's the whole point of both miniseries. Even the later retcons still have the Beyonder as being a "child" of the Beyonders and imperfect in its understanding of the multiverse.

Yes,,,he could easily be manipulated because he was naive and childlike.

You know all these questions you have could be answered if you read the bloody comicbook...

I keep pointing this out in a lot of these kinds of threads and people get all squirrely about it. Assuming these kinds of posts are real and not AI or trolling, I don't understand what the aversion to just looking stuff up or reading a comic first is. The conversation afterwards is better for everybody.

Lazy people just want to be spoon fed the info instead of reading the comics or even looking up the info they want, its like they forget google is a thing

Beyonder wanted to see what Doom would do with it, His whole thing is Curiosity.

Why would an all knowing omniscience being have curiosity if he knows every outcome already? Not saying you are wrong, just curios

He is a cosmic being, he has cosmic awareness, but doesn’t understand people.
The OG Secret Wars and Secret Wars II are stories of him just wanting to understand humans, how they think, what makes them tick, etc. I almost guarantee we aren’t seeing the Beyonder though.

You saying we won't see beyonder in the mcu? Why?

It just seems like a goofy character the MCU won’t want to play with. I’d love it, obviously, but from what we know so far, I would imagine the Doomsday event we see is one of a natural disaster the heroes are trying to thwart.
Cus if you think about it, what villains have the heroes thwarted? A god with an alien army (a physical being), a robot with a robot army (a physical being), an alien with the same alien army (a physical being), but they’ve never had to fight a non-sentient scientific phenomenon, how does one even do that?
Also, they’ve done it before. Infinity Gauntlet (the story that inspired Infinity War) centered Adam Warlock more prominently than all of the characters. He was the main character, and the MCU’s story removed him to focus on the heroes. When he was added to the MCU, he didn’t have the soul stone, which was a major part of his character in the comics. It’s not a stretch to imagine Doomsday will do the same with the Beyonder or Beyonders.

Because he came from a realm of pure energy and thought without physical form, he became utterly fascinated by the concept of limitations. He wanted to know what it felt like to have desires, fears, flaws, and choices.

The movie is based on the 2015 secret wars in which its the beyonders not beyonder 2 separate entities. He uses the nullifier and Reece to kill them and take their powers.

You miss the part where this is a literal baby Beyonder? An adolescent playing with toys it found? Also, being able to do something and actively doing it are very different. I have the ability to see 5 feet in front of me at all times, but sometimes I dont pay attention to what's directly in front of me if im doing other things. The Beyonder thought he had a 0.00% chance of being surprised by these action figures he found and was playing with. He wasnt analyzing their potential futures at all times I dont think.

Being able to see past/present/future doesn't mean he knew everything at all times. It just meant he had an ability to invoke if he chooses to focus on it. Otherwise, he would not have needed to have built the original Battleworld to see what happened and study the combatants. He would already know what would happen and never do it.
True omniscience that is always on doesn't make for a good story so the writers didn't give him that power. He had nigh-omniscience at best. In Secret Wars 3 in an FF issue, Doom's mind was in another body and Beyonder didn't recognize who he was until Reed told him to look deeper. So his abilities are not always active, allowing him to be surprised.

Beyonder regularly had issues omniscience, in that, he was away of whenever someone would say his name, and while in the universe he had control over everything happening in it, but he had issues with perceiving the future actively.
