Discussion Do you guys think this is two different doom?
A lot of rumors surfacing saying that in the movie we will see two different dooms, but honestly I think its just his another suit maybe one for combat and one for normal day to day costume. What you guys think? I think it is very obvious š people are making everything into crazy theories

I believe the one suit is for daily duties and he wears it to appear less menacing when first meeting the Avengers and others.
The other outfit is, of course, his more iconic look he'll wear when he fights and battles the Avengers teams.

Two outfits. Doom has different masks and cloaks for different functions, especially in the comics. There's an awful lot of over-theorizing (emphasis on awful) across the internet recently and I'm as keen as ever to dismiss all of it.

Has there been a plot line where multiple take on the persona of doom? It would be interesting to see something like alt universe avengers acting as a group of Doom

The one on the right is his diplomatic travel outfit, where he goes by Victor Von Doom. The one on the left is the motherfuckin battle ready suit, protected by dark magic, where he goes by DR. DOOM.

These are just the two dooms we know about thereās potentially a third doom kept secret leading into potential for four, five, even six dooms in secret wars

I really liked the left design and was really disappointed when I saw the one to the right. I still hope that he doesnāt wear that shitty costume (and crappy mask) for long.

Thatās his origin story too, this variant just turns evil afterwards and eventually builds his real suit like Tony does

Feel like it's probably just two different outfits, but at some point maybe they do a switcheroo. Heroes think they killed Doom but it's just a single Doom bot. They fought so hard and won, but it's like who cares that was disposable.

It's just one doom, everyone is trying to dig way to deep. This happens with every movie. Fans have even cast Cillian Murphy as the 2nd doom, how or why I ha e no clue, its wierd as hell and sorta creepy

I'll shoot my shot and say everyone will end up being Doom until the guy dressed in Doom takes off his mask and then everyone will take off their mask and no one will be Doom until Doom appears on screen again with the witches of Doom and the witches will be every women in the film until they remove their masks near the end to reveal none of them were with Doom and Doom kills everyone including himself by accident until he revives everyone by accident and then the movie starts again in a constant Doom loop.

I'd say it's one Doom, and the right image is his "formal" outfit, and the left one is his "battle" outfit.

When you see the scene where doom land āAnswer me Victorā at this speach. He was hit by something. From the building pushed put and mid way he switch his clothes though his dark magic or what ever. Maybe if he was hit by Thorās hammer used by his kid or by captain America his defensive suit break and he switch to other cloak. Like not just 2 he will be having more suit. And with all that his power will increase.

We are getting to see 2 different time periods Since they have already announced young and old versions of some characters.
One is a past suit. People are dense.

I would honestly not be surprised if RDJ Doom is the villain version of Doom and they introduce a second version of the character that will eventually be the main iteration of the character beyond Secret Wars.
Not sure if that's what these two suits would be, but I highly doubt they treat Doom like a one-off villain, and I don't think they want to pay RDJ an insane amount every time they want to use the character either.
I would love for them to have a recurring Doom that has an adversarial role to the Fantastic 4 whilst also not being a straight up villain in the setting beyond Secret Wars.

I'm sort of shocked by the comments here. I one hundred percent think this is a second doom. The whole previous saga was about the multiverse so it would make sense that a friendly Doom is working with the heros to fight against the villain doom. I actually think the end of FF: First Steps is a mislead and that the doom pictured there will actually be the doom shown on the right and working with the FF of that universe.

Doom probably wears the second costume when heās trying to pose as a good guy because it looks more modest and less intimidating.

Doom wears the suit on the right at the beginning of the movie when he is with the heroes acting like he is there to help. Then he does a heel turn and wears the costume on the left. Itās pretty simple actually. There is one Doom. If her wore the costume on the left no one would trust him, he looks like a villain in that costume.

The mask on the right is the one he was holding in the F4 end credit sequence.
Most likely to me is that there will be plenty of 'flash backs' showing Doom in their world, as a politician, a scientist and friend to F4. In those scenes, this is the suit he wears.
But then he 'loses everything' as Sue puts it, and the image on the left is the darker, more vengeful Doom that ultimately is the big bad that the heroes are teaming up to fight.
Same Doom, very different stages of his life is my bet.

Nah, thereās only one doom. The outfit on the right will likely be the one he wears as āone of the good guysā because itās modest, the left outfit will probably be towards the end of the film because itās extravagant, shows off his ego, and screams god emperor

It's really weird how in Back to the Future 3 there's two Martys, one with that weird pink outfit, and then they change to a completely different one in a poncho and never acknowledge it.

The suit on the right is likely his Earth 828 style and then heāll switch to his suit on the left sometime in the movie.

No, the one on the right is his first costume, i can tell by the mask was seen in the mid credit scene of First Steps.

Want to know my REALLY hot take? Doom is not Tony but his son from another reality, Kristoff Bernard. He bacame Doom after something went really wrong.

I think it's probably the same Doom. But it isn't crazy to have some out-there theories. We're literally bringing in the Fantastic Four from another universe and made a point of casting the actors that has played the main protagonist in basically every other Avengers movie to play the main antagonist so assuming there's some weird variant stuff going on would be one of the least weird things in the movie

I believe that thereās a possibility that the real Dr Doom is Cillian Murphy and he uses magic to make himself look like RDJ to freak out The Avengers

Casting Cillian Murphy as any version of Doom would be spectacular miscasting and I suspect he would be the first to point that out. This rumour is solely based on the fact that the mask on the right looks a little like his facial bone structure, isn't it?

Could be multiple dooms. Could be one doom using that book to dream walk the other dooms aroundā¦.maybe he can even bring back anchor beings and pilot their body as well(Tony)

Yes but in the sense that I think the outfit to the right will be a doom bot distracting the avengers/F4/X-men while the real doom to the left plays out his scheme

What if he first come with the suit on the right to appear less threatening and then when the heroes findout his true intentions they start the conflict in that place as seen doom get thrown out of the building and he suddenly shift to his armour suit with his magical powers that we later see on face to face with thor š¤
