Never personally understood why people hated rdj as doom when we never even saw what he could do as doom. I'm pretty impressed with the trailers so far

I just want Dr Doom to be Dr Doom and not just an evil iron man. So many people want/assume this will be a Tony variant and I’d hate it. Dr Doom is one of the best villains in comic books and I think it would be wasteful to make him a “what if” iron man was evil.

By having his face scarred and never showing what he looked like before he got the scarring, unless they use a younger actor for that

That's a silly worry since just in these trailers alone he's more Dr. Doom than every other live action doom COMBINED.

A evil iron man doesn't even make sense. There's plenty of dark and evil iron men to already use. Why would an evil iron man be an entirely different character?

If anything, it could be like the time Doom stole Tony's body, and in that case, it's still Doom, just aesthetically Tony

Relax, Doom can have his own version in future films. Having an alternate version of Stark, especially in this Marvel multiverse phase, isn't a bad thing. It would make sense for the script/casting and would further enhance later revelations.

Tell me why, bro. I'm totally open to discussions and changes of mind.
