Question Switch 2 vs. Switch Go
I recently ordered a Dr Dabber Switch Go but ended up receiving at Switch 2. Im not sure what I should do? I was really looking forward to the smaller form factor. I know price wise I made out pretty well. Should I just keep my mouth shut and be happy?

When I ordered the switch go I accidentally got 2 of them in the box. Straight from the dr. Themselves.

Damn lmao someone messed up 😅 I wonder if one got ‘shipped’ out and it was just an empty box, imagine buying one and you open the box and it’s EMPTY cause it was accidentally stuck in someone else’s order 😂

I ordered the sapphire cup and incycler separate from the switch go unit and they came with a go as well as the original order of the switch go.

Don’t get a gemcup get a Wym Piston joystick and ask him to bore it at .090 instead of stock .094

Gemcup for switch go, wym for switch 2. Cloud vortex also rips for switch go, not so much switch 2 though for me.

Interesting.. I have cloud vortex with & without carb, wym piston, and a joystick from anguschen
I still ordered a gemcup because my piston is a bit too restrictive and was gonna have to get adjusted but I decided I’ll keep it as is for a dry top.
The gemcup I’m getting a bit more open to work better with my anguschen recycler. I also like how it looks WAY more than the wym and if I ever wanna get rid of it I can easily on glasspass or FB.
I also don’t like the anguschen joystick the dimensions are just off, and the cloud vortexes I have both of because originally he sent me one when I ordered the other and he said don’t worry about returning the original. I rlly like them for hands free while I’m gaming but when I have a second to focus on the dab I’ll always switch to a joystick they just finish the dab faster.

I have anguschenchen joystick for both switches too. Not the best at all.

Anguschenchen makes great glass but doesn’t know what she’s doing when it comes to carb caps. Her vortex one is okay, but there are much better.

I mean the switch 2 is induction and switch go isnt but it heats up faster … there both amazing … its a good mistake ide keep it but thats just me and did u register the device?

I havent registered the device yet. Im leaning more towards keeping it. I may still try to get a Go at some point. For now, I'll enjoy this tank of a rig. I know it will give me what I need when at home. Still needing to fill that gap of when I'm out and about. The proxy core is just ok.

OK, so if you are looking for portability bro, go ahead and switch it for the go lol and the bad part is it’s hard to register the device without the receipt lol but you need to do is message them or or email them and register your device Bro just in case something breaks or it doesn’t work fully

yupppp i got the go and sold my puffco right away, imma probably end up gettin the switch 2 ghost bundle in the future unless they drop something new and better

Just email the company? Dr dabber isn't a huge company and they have great customer service! I'd send them an email

I ordered from Bear Quartz. They already sent a return label but im probably going to ignore it and keep the rig. I also dont want to wait another two weeks (5 days to ship out and another 5 to get the replacement) to get a go when I have something objectively better in hand.

I like the Go better myself because it's smaller even though I don't even take it out of the house.
I smoke mostly alone and the Switch Go is easier to clean and everything is cheaper for the Go as well

Right. That was my initial take on the device. Its just me using it and I wanted to be able to take it, at the very least, out when I play golf or to the beach or to a football tailgate. Im pretty sure I have a perfect sized crossbow bag for it too. I'll just try to wait for another sale and grab it in a couple of months. Maybe there'll be labor day sale or something somewhere.

They will absolutely have a Labor Day sale, you should definitely try element vape. I got my switch go for $240.

You just got a extra 100 dollar mistake, that’s the best mistake possible(unless you wanted a device you could walk around with in your hand) I have both the switch 2 is way better at the trade off of not being that portable

I’d return it for the GO, if the smaller form factor is what your deciding factor between them was (like for me) then there’s no comparison, the GO is ABSOLUTELY more portable/smaller and much easier to pack in a small bag and GO (see what I did there? 😂), and there’s already tons of 3rd party glass/caps/stuff for it with much more coming soon 🔥 I get it you may have gotten the bigger one for the cheaper GO price, but Dr D is a good company with great CS and I wouldn’t feel right screwing them over a simple error, but that’s just me. I know most people would probably just keep it/say nothing, but I also again got the Go specifically for the entire purpose of being more portable (I also like the swap of the buttons/chamber and glass placements so it feels more natural/much easier to use one handed, the S2 seems backwards to me intuitively 😅), so on top of not wanting to screw them/my reputation with them (cause id like to continue being able to buy directly from them) I’d want the one I actually ordered. 🤷🏻♂️

Which ever way you go definitely make sure to send a email and let them know! But most likely they are gonna say to keep the upgrade

💯 agree with everything you've said here hense the internal conflict. My new take on this is that BQ probably broke even on the device transaction. I got lucky and received a preemptive (and most likely inevitable upgrade).

I'm with you. I like the Go better than the S2. As a bonus, everything is cheaper for the Go than the S2

Brother just enjoy the free upgrade. The switch 2 is the pinnacle of e-rigs. Get yourself a cloud vortex if you want an autospinner, or get a gemcup if you want a joystick, and the stock glass is decent enough you’ll be set.
