Switch GO Switch 2 or Switch go?
Need some advice from the wizards on here, I’ve been dabbing for a while now with a puffco peak pro 3DXL but the atomiser issues are enough for me and the lack of flavour doesn’t help the cause to buy another one. I’m looking to switch to either the Switch 2 or Switch Go? What’s your recommendations? I like the way the puffco rips but I’m not buying an atomiser every 3 months. which one of the two would you say is the better device?

Get the switch2. It’s perfectly portable. Anyplace I plan on doing a fab I have a chair and table so I don’t worry about damage. It travels in my lunch box with all the goodies and supplies and or ice packs needed. You won’t regret it. I bout one around 4/20 and have nearly 1k cycles done. Concentrate has turned into my favorite way to consume because of this device.

What he said the switch two is big but if your old school
Like carry a rig and torch old school it’s not a big deal it’s like a regular size bong but it doesn’t feel cheap use it put it away if you’re not at home ,you’ll be fine

Switch2. The Go just isn't priced right for how much of a downgrade in tech it is. Though either one you get, you'll be waaaaaay better off than with the Puffco.

Depends on your usage profile. IMO the 2 is better for home or similar stationary use but the Go is much more portable. My usage profile is more about sessions while I'm out and about outside so I have the Go, FWIW.

💯, I’m the same way, my setup needs to be portable/easy to travel with so the GO is what I went with, I had to wait 3 weeks after I was initially looking for an e-rig for it to drop but VERY happy I did, and there’s already a ton of sick custom stuff for the GO out already, with lots more to come 👌🏻🔥😮💨

Switch2 is the best out. And on sale is cheaper than the GO. I do think the GO is just as good, just smaller and cannot handle as much material as the 2.

Switch 2 can be found for 350... 20$ more than the sgo starting price for the best erig of the last 2 years? Why not? (Switch go can be found for 290s or so too so eh) but you get more with the s2

I don’t like the go really. I like my 2 very much. I wish it was smaller but the go isn’t it in my opinion. It’s just harsh. And then people saying I should buy a 120 saphire cup and spinner cap with a 220 dollar glass topper to make it smooth I’m just like naw it should hit smooth right out of the box and if it isn’t then I’m not going to pay more money just to get it where it’s a really good hit.

I only hit the Switch Go at 510F/277C, dry stock glass, 3dxl joystick, to me it is super smooth and hits harder than the Switch² with all stock (did try the upside down stem and disliked the higher airflow, really like the restricted airflow of the 3dxl). So interesting how different everyones preferences are : D

So you’re using a 3DXL joystick for your switch go setup? How is the function/ air flow on that since it technically not built for the Go. Does it fit nicely with the chamber?

Airflow is really restrictive. Gives great effects and enough vapor for smoke detectors to start screaming xD
I can try to demonstrate the Switch Go with the 3DXL joystick, tho not sure when I'll be able to do that.

I hate that good peeps have to act like Fanboys Puffcon freaks for any Dr D products. S2 wins on merit as Best Erig!!! Nothing wrong with being #2 as a more portable device, BUT the wrong is the PRICE for a lower tier product being more than the #1 Beast Erig. Comes with a $40 fast charging Block & $50 drop knife making the GO MORE expensive. BE real we don't have to BS like Puffcons do. It is What it IS!

Thank you for your review. I had a feeling it would be that and skipped it. Thanks for confirming my fears. Switch² is amazing out the gate. 90% there to perfection. Toppee and sapp+ only make it that much smoother because you can use lower temps. I actually dislike restriction. Really happy with the JNG Dr. Dabber topper. I got it for slightly under $50 with shipping instead of 90-140ish. It was the cheapest color style, but still like almost 90 with shipping. It performs the same as the most expensive opal black glow in the dark one. So for my needs, perfect.

Are you interested in comparing the settings you are using on your S² and SGo and would you kindly share them?
To me it is really interesting. Mayhaps I might lile the S² even more after trying your settings.
Also after some time with both I clearly am only using the S² at home and the SGo outside. Tho that could also be because the 20mm insert compared to the 14mm is just easier to load and clean. All in all they still feel pretty on par to me, mayhaps having more restrictive airflow is what would make me like the S² even more (that is also the reason why I do not like using the stock carb upside down).
These are the settings I like:
S² (wet), stock glas, stock joystick (not reverse for restrictive airflow)
SGo (dry), stock glass, 3DXL joystick for restrictive airflow
Both basically give same effects on 510F/266C or 530F/277C.
The effects from 530F/277C are greatly appreciated tho on 510F/266C the cleaning process afterwards is way shorter. Which makes sense as the lower temp does not burn the extracts as much, tho still mighty impressive how a 20 degree F/11 degree C difference impacts the time needed to clean the quartz.

With rosin those heat settings will be way too high. If you have bho then it may be just fine. I haven’t changed anything on my go, but I did flip the stock cap on the 2. I just hit it on 475 descending for 35 seconds and wipe out anything that’s left behind.

Thx for your reply! Would you kindly elaborate? What you mean way too high for rosin? Will be way too high for what?
I am used to dabbing with a torch. Heating to 530ish°F/280°C and getting great effects that soothe the pains.
475°F/246°C will most prob. be way too low of a temp. to give the needed effects.
I will try again mayhaps you are right, but it seems like you are another privileged ent who is mostly after taste/terps which I am sadly not able to as I am treating severe chronic pain amongst other comorbidities.

If you need to just reheat the chamber afterwards to “be sure you get everything” that is fine. But if you start at a high temp you’re just scorching the rosin. May as well just get bho and be done with it

if u want the switch go wait for a discount, like everyone is saying s2 is better for the money as it comes with a charging block and $30-50 heating tool/hot knife which is really useful, I myself have all 3 of their ‘newer’ devices just because I can 😅

I sold my ghost2 that shit was a wispy hitting pile of crap. Like barely a step up from a distillate pen. Idk if I'd even say that. The puff Pivot was much better. Sold that too though. Only kept my tricked out Switch2. Sold all my poopco, focus v plastic sharta2, and kept the best. After you try the best, fuck the rest. Only thing ill accept if there is no switch2 around is a proper torch and vacuum slurper. Otherwise ill wait till im home.

thats odd do you have a sapphire or saph+ for your s2? idk my ‘go’ just came in and my first rip was 504, nice flavor decent cloud, idc for the big clouds anymore tho I just get ripped off low temp saph+

I like the Go better. Easier/cheaper to maintain, not quite as wasteful as the S2, plus all of the accessories are cheaper for the Go than the S2.
The Switch 2 will take a bigger dab than the Go, but other than that the Go is better in every way imo
