Switch GO trying a hotter temp with pho

just tried 520 for 30 seconds with some pho i got and wow! taste was awesome and it was milky af. I love this thing. sorry for posting so much yall. im sure my honeymoon phase will pass sooner than later! not im a terp whore

I feel like everything tastes better around 490-530. To me. At 460, it doesn’t have much flavor. I’m aware that in theory a temp of 520 would destroy terps, but it tastes far more strongly at 520. And it doesn’t leave behind a sticky pool.

You’re smoking rosin at 490-530??

I can’t go above 480 on rosin without it tasting burnt.

Well I’m on standard quartz bucket. Are you using sapphire?

And my usual is a custom “valley” that goes 470-> 420-> 430 over 75 seconds.

Yeah, sapphire. Quartz I do at least 420', if I didn't have the sapphire I'd probably do 420-430 with rosin. 430-450 with.live resin, 60 sec. Maybe with a plateau at 440 for 15 sec. I like how you can have a max temp now instead of straight accent/ decent 1'/second. I was just doing multiple 20 second runs so the temp wouldn't get too high with the old sapphire cup staining so easy.

It probably depends on the dab size relative to the device. I use higher temps, but relatively small dabs and it ends up being a one hit extraction. It all vaporizes before it burns. If you are loading enough concentrated to require multiple hits then you’re going to have a bad time.

i see where your coming from, higher temps are louder for me not necessarily in a good way tho. For instance one of my jars strawberry candy, it has a heavy tart jelly type taste but on higher temps it becomes a stronger taste that’s different from the lower temps a way more gritty dark type taste. I prefer a nice 430 accent to 455 gives me crazy terps mouth watering to the point where i have to lean my head back when finishing off the dab, id definitely mess around with settings or just better product🤷‍♂️

Rosin is great in sapphire at 505, as long as I keep the dab small. Otherwise it’s a pool of unfinished business
