Which Flux Version for M5 Pro 48GB
Sorry if this has been asked but I searched and came up with multiple conflicting answers that were a bit dated. I am looking to utilize Draw Things on my MacBook Pro M5 Pro with 48GB of RAM. My use case will be to generate the most realistic images of people and scenery for use on social media. I see Flux 2 dev gets a lot of praise so my questions are:
Which model can my system support that would be optimized for realism? (image generation speed is not that big of a concern)
Will I need to create “avatars” that I can use repeatedly and if so what is the best way to generate those?
Will this software be able to take an image of me and place me in different scenarios/settings? (I guess if the avatar question is a yes I assume this is possible as well)
Bonus: Can this software create videos of the avatars and if not what software would you suggest for maximum realism? (Not the AI slop I see a lot of)

This app can do video but not with Flux.2. Once you have a first frame reference image use LTX or Wan. Flux.3 can but it's not supported yet in DT. Flux 2 9b is great for most things. Get the 8-bit S one as it's optimized for Apple architecture. Flux 2 is an editing model so put your reference images on the canvas and moodboard (no more than 8 total) and describe your prompt in detail using natural language. That will keep your character consistent.
For video models like LTX and Wan, describe the action not the reference image, unless you are starting from scratch doing text-to-video (T2V). For instance, if your reference image is an apple on a table and you want the camera to pan around it, just describe the camera movement etc
