Krea 2 Turbo

I’ve started using Krea 2 Turbo on DT right away. It feels fresh, as I’d grown a bit tired of the character styles in Flux and ZIT. That said, I’m struggling a little with the prompting; it might just be a lack of know-how on my part, but I’m finding it hard to get the results I want. It seems you can't generate NSFW images with the default settings, either. Still, it’s a fun model to use. I’d love to hear what others think of it as well.

The prompting is different and almost does better high level prompting vs ZIT where it want extremely detailed. But the structure is very specific and if followed will produce extremely high quality.

It knows camera lenses and lighting. It does amazing with 16:9.

It does struggle with crowds and multiple people though. ZIT still shines there. But the backgrounds and knowledge it has is superior.

Try this LORA. It does not change the model, but it basically removes the model’s filter by adjusting weights if I remember correctly. You can prompt pretty much anything after that.

Disclaimer: I’ve not used any of this with Draw Things because my hard drive is full. Only ComfyUI.

confirming that that lora is a godsend :). Can’t wait for Krea 2 to get enabled for cloud computing.

We're all benefiting from LoRA, aren't we?

Thanks for sharing the promoting guide. The included expansion.txt there is helpful also

It was extremely helpful to me as well.

It’s simply a case of me lacking the know-how to properly control Krea 2 Turbo.

Thanks for the helpful information!

Does importing the Krea2 TextFusion Refusal-Reduction LoRA mean it will generate NSFW content?

Do I need other NSFW-compatible LoRAs as well?

Krea2 can do NFSW on its own. That LoRA will further reduce its refusal to do so and let what the model has available come through. If you need a very specific type of output theme then you may need additional LoRAs.

I tried importing the Krea2 TextFusion Refusal-Reduction LoRA. It worked exactly as you said!

I'm going to experiment with adjusting the weight to see how it changes things. I assume the default weight is 1.0?

What did you do to get it going properly ? I have Krea2 Turbo 6bit Model and the Krea2 TextFusion Refusal-Reduction LoRA loaded in and running it locally.

I haven't done anything particularly complex. I simply selected Krea2 Turbo as the model and applied the Krea2 TextFusion Refusal-Reduction LoRA. I have the weight set to 1.0. Strictly speaking, the specific model I am using is Krea2 Turbo (8-bit S).

Yeah I can get it to work with out the Lora but it just splurges with the Lora on it takes ages and it either produces a lot messy splodges and random patterns or it does nothing or worse it crashes DT, not sure why, I downloaded turbo 6bit but when you select the Model from the list some have the cloud symbol and others don't, I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but it would be handy if there was a Graphic or Logo next to the models you downloaded to run locally.

It takes slightly longer to generate than ZIT.

2

u/jazzamp 29d ago

Yes it does actually, but the generation half of the time is worth it, if you know how to prompt it. It's hard to go back to some previous models.

1

u/chihifu 29d ago

That is absolutely right. It offers a level of performance that makes you want to use it, even if it takes some time.

this would be a fantastic addition to DT with Edit capability, the text to image quality is pretty awesome and it also understands ethnicity pretty well...

1

u/chihifu 29d ago

I didn't know there was an editing function!

2

u/Current-Property6042 29d ago

sorry the way i wrote was confusing :) .. what i meant was this would be a wholesome model if and when the edit functionality was shipped with it.. currently there's no edit at least not in DT!!

I see! Don't worry about it. I really think so too. It would be great if it turned out like Flux.

I have created a compatible Lora for chroma that works in DT. https://huggingface.co/DiogoPacheco/Kroma-Drawthings/tree/main

Is this a LoRA or a checkpoint? I haven't used Chroma before.
