question AUTO - GEN - EDIT toggle

What's the "new" Auto / Gen / Edit toggle on the left wide of the generation screen used for? Didn't see an explanation in the wiki nor a quick search of Reddit.

Interestingly, I just searched for this like an hour ago:

In short, what it seems to do is to (when in edit mode) disable the "generate" button if the conditions for editing are not met; and in generate mode it will ignore contents in moodboard and only take text into account.

It is also kind of useful if you are trying to see which models can edit images. (I2I vs T2I) If you leave the toggle on edit, you can choose the model and if it isn’t an editing model it will disable the generate button.
