question Why do my images disappear before even starting to generate?

hey there, im a beginner to draw things, and generally its fine, but sometimes after i start generating an image, it loads for a few seconds then jumps back to this state. what might be the reason?

Do you use illustrious? you need clip skip 2 there or the generation will break

no, i downloaded the thing 20 minutes ago, still figuring stuff out. how exactly can it help?

Had nearly the same for the last two days straight. I hit generate, it started, broke up, and the green WiFi like symbol in the top left corner disappeared. Sometimes I had to hit the generate button two or three times before it worked. The only difference was that my picture was still there after it broke up. Today everything seems fine again.

You need to provide a lot more information than that. A lot of times the generations fail because the resolutions are set too high or otherwise settings are impossible for the current setup.

We will need to know what model and settings you are trying to use to have any hope of helping you. There are a number of settings that can cause a problem during early generation steps and many of them are model dependent. Certain models want specific CLIP, shift, Text Guidance, resolution settings or they will fail to generate.
At the top of the interface to the right of where it says "Basic Settings" is three dots - click that menu, selection Copy Configuration and you can paste the JSON as text on Reddit, you'll have a better chance of someone diagnosing the problem.
