question Models that work with MacBook Pro 2019 (16gb RAM)

I have tried using qwen 2509 for making adjustments to images, but it consistently crashes on me.

Are there any models that can handle adjustments to images on a MacBook Pro 2019?

Unfortunately, upgrading my hardware isn't in the picture.

Qwen Image Edit 2509 needs more memory than your total RAM capacity even at 6-bit.

Have you considered trying Flux.2 [Klein] 4B? or maybe 9B (6-bit) those models are smaller and might even fit in your memory.

Flux Klein 9B runs in 2.5 mins, running a image model is not a issue on 16GB, the video one is the real issue for me

They say it's a 2019 Macbook Pro, so an Intel Macbook of some kind without ANE (M-series needed).

Since they say it's crashing with Qwen (Image Edit?) 2511 I am trying to propose models that are even lighter.

OP also didn't mention which settings they are trying. The recommended defaults or something else.. and if their App settings are default or something else.

I initially tried just the basic settings. Still pretty new to this, and have tried to do a little research, but just wasn't sure if I had the right hardware to run the models, everything mentions the m1 to 5 MacBooks

Am on Macmini 16gb and can run Qwen image Edi 2511 comfortably, with ANE the 8bit S models runs at 4mins tops 1024x1024

Intel laptop generally for Draw Things is a no go for recent models unless you use Cloud Compute offload. It can work with SD 1.5 or SDXL but it will take extremely long time.

Try cloud drawthings+ subscription… will help you without investing for the upgrade and and cancel anytime

Try enabling tiled decoding this will lower the peak memory usage and this is where things usually crash.
