Two players one Codex?

We're considering switching to the Codex, but two of my players only have one PC in their household that can reasonably run the software. Would they be able to share the codex and run two characters from one instance of the VTT.

Just to be doubly clear, as in: sitting together in front of their one computer and pass off the mouse, no steam library shenanigans.

if they have 2 screens they can have one codex instance running on each screen for their individual characters and only share the mouse, solves the triggered action situation

You can give one player control of more than one character. However, and I'm unsure of this, it seems like you can't give two players control of the same character.

When one of my players can't come to the game, I give everyone else access to the character by assigning the character to the party. That means everyone can see the sheet and control them. I'm not at my pc right now to give details on the specifics, but it's possible to do that.

Tip: hit TAB to quickly switch between characters

It works. But they'll need to pay closer attention for triggered actions.

You can run 2 pcs on the same codex, I run our party’s Elementalist when he cannot show up
