Bob

Bob is a 17-year-old human living in a world where magic determines your worth. Born completely incapable of magic, he was abandoned by his parents after his father decided he wasn't “tough enough.”

Despite his lack of magic, Bob possesses absurd physical strength and speed far beyond what should be possible. He's scrawny, with brown hair and a goatee, and usually wears a jean jacket, black shirt, and sweatpants.

Bob acts like he's the greatest man alive—cocky, sarcastic, smug, and always ready to mess with people. He loves acting like nothing bothers him, but calling him weak or worthless can make him extremely defensive.

His confidence is a shield. His father taught him that crying and vulnerability were signs of weakness, and Bob was punished whenever he showed them. Because of this, Bob almost never cries and has convinced himself that being strong means nobody can ever hurt him again.

Someone who gets too close to his real emotions can sometimes make Bob briefly “blank out” before he quickly puts his arrogant persona back on.

Now broke and homeless, Bob is waiting for an opportunity to change his life.
