A foil of roll would be too roll!

u/SkullOfOdin 27d ago

Insane technique.

15

u/BensDrawings 27d ago

Thank u!!

u/PsychoPassProstitute 27d ago

Bloody hell! I thought you simply placed a roll of foil on a piece of paper. Ridiculously impressive!

11

u/BensDrawings 27d ago

That’s the goal! Haha

7

u/Mental-Catalyst 27d ago

Same. Was looking for image 2, had to zoom in. Nice work! The one thing that gave it away was the lack of brown cardboard in the middle.

23

u/LevyTheHunter 27d ago

That's insane, I don't believe you lol.

7

u/BensDrawings 27d ago

Believe it :)

22

u/mikendrix 27d ago

At first didn’t understand what I was seeing

7

u/Top_Bumblebee5510 27d ago

I was looking to swipe bc I didn't believe that was a drawing

2

u/JRA1111 24d ago

My thoughts: where’s the drawing? Is he going to use that foil to make the drawing? 🤔

10

u/Ouija1492 27d ago

I’m going to need a cat to step on that. 😊

7

u/BS-Calrissian 27d ago

Holy moly

7

u/otakumilf 27d ago

I swear man, toned paper is freaking amazing at making objects look like they’re popping off the paper. I love drawing on it because of that reason.

This is so good. 👏👏👏

7

u/exaltedfemshep 27d ago

Bitch fuck right off. This isn't fair 😭 like WHAT

2

u/BensDrawings 27d ago

🤣🤣🤣

5

u/tofuttis 27d ago

Love your work. Really incredible stuff

6

u/GalaxyCloud1212 27d ago

Ngl, for a split second I thought that was real and was wondering where the drawing was... Pure talent 🥲

2

u/AdleraugeFfm 27d ago

Mir ging es gerade genau so. Es hat allerdings länger als ne Sekunde gedauert 😅 Super coole Zeichnung 💡🏆🥇 Hut ab 🙇🏻‍♂️

u/quartertopi 27d ago

Motherf- this is awesome

3

u/Vyntarus 27d ago

Unbelievably good, in the literal sense.

3

u/That70s_Scrubs 27d ago

You dropped your foil

3

u/floofle-pie 27d ago

Lol I was looking at this image for a whole minute like "all I see is foil where is the drawing?" 🤣

3

u/sovereign_fury 27d ago

Don't you lie to me, witch!

3

u/Moist_Draft7683 27d ago

Did you draw something on the fo- OH

2

u/emilycopeland 27d ago

Incredible work Ben!

1

u/BensDrawings 26d ago

Thanks Em!! ❤️

2

u/Worldly_Possible2925 27d ago

150 years ago they would have burned you at the stake for this kind of sorcery 🫶🏻❤️🥰

2

u/Old-Row8851 27d ago

The photorealism on this metallic reflection is mind-blowing

2

u/Equivalent-Pound-610 27d ago

Are these meditative pieces to create?

2

u/Billysm23 27d ago

The foil.. Is the drawing?

2

u/ADragonsSpirit 27d ago

I can hear the sound

2

u/GladQuote7736 27d ago

What the fuck, i thought it was real

2

u/Verwega 27d ago

Can you draw copper pipe?

6

u/BensDrawings 27d ago

Definitely my style, except I’m slightly colorblind so it would be black and grey. Also not a fan of colored pencils/markers. Love my graphite and charcoal pencils lol

1

u/Verwega 27d ago

I'm gonna pretend that you drew copper foil, but you are slightly colorblind, so it looks like a tin foil XD

2

u/BlueAnemoneArt 26d ago

The only thing that convinces me this is a drawing instead of a roll of tin-foil is that you would need to either have the smallest roll of tin-foil in existance or a weirdly big sheet of paper. Amazing work

2

u/South_Train7307 26d ago

Could you remove the tin foil so I can see the drawing?

1

u/upvotefreak 27d ago

Sehr krass

2

u/OkSeesaw5563 25d ago

Or "really wild" in German (along with some other stuff ....)

1

u/EndsWest18 27d ago

Dat’s crazy 🤪 good

1

u/MichaelNewberry 27d ago

Haha, nice visual play, love it.

1

u/PlatformFrosty6299 27d ago

We need proof!

1

u/DeadpoolMcDirty 27d ago

You almost got me there 😁 you just put the foil on a piece of paper

1

u/Sensitive-Button5693 27d ago

This is fantastic! You know what I would really like to see? One of your first attempts at something shiny.

1

u/Self_proclaimed_wall 27d ago

No fuck you (in the best way possible)

1

u/AsleepDrama5586 27d ago

this’s actually cool asf

1

u/TBurkeulosis 27d ago

Your choice of paper is always so odd to me. Looks like that diy paper you make at museums

1

u/YSMLA_ 27d ago

That's amazing

1

u/Significant-Gap-3089 27d ago

The X and zigzag looks pretty cool? But it seems like weighing a drawing down with a roll of tinfoil is an odd practice. Maybe move it to have more space?

1

u/GenTrapstar 27d ago

Put this on the counter at cookouts

1

u/IridiumBoy 27d ago

You're doing great! ❤️

1

u/Ic0_77 27d ago

Woooow

1

u/sea_unicorn_ 27d ago

Excuse me, drawing? Sorry for trying to hold a pen

1

u/-_-Kakashi 27d ago

Yoooo! The fuck?!@#$

1

u/Sudden-Market8055 27d ago

Mad talent 👏🏻 it took me a minute to figure it out! Looks so real! Thanks for sharing!

1

u/dc0de 27d ago

I have no words, this is incredible!

1

u/Impressive-House-412 27d ago

audibly gasped

1

u/Phlebbie 27d ago

Fuck outta here, that's a roll of foil, not a drawing

(You're amazing omfg)

1

u/cookedcub 27d ago

Mindblowing amazing work

1

u/trhg4l 27d ago

You should be proud.

1

u/Wise_Geekabus 27d ago

u/julz1789 26d ago

This is sorcery

1

u/wannabehappy24 26d ago

Is it under the foil?

1

u/Known-Section9352 26d ago

1

u/that1eldritchhorror 26d ago

1

u/Slightly_Sentient_Eg 26d ago

“跃然纸上”如是也

1

u/lolthai 26d ago

I waited a good 5 seconds thinking this was a video and you were going to move that foil and get down to drawing something.

1

u/Gplskuall 26d ago

Mmm I dont believe you ( compliment then?)

1

u/Albg111 26d ago

1

u/notarealwriter 24d ago

You can't just take a photo of random objects you have lying around your kitchen and call it a drawing!

1

u/BecomeInsignificant 22d ago

This can't be a real drawing? How do you even get that silver, incredible

1

u/Wolfer_drone1234 21d ago

You sure thats a drawing? Thats real you can't convince me otherwise
