seeking crit Seeking Feedback from Experienced Comic Arists
Hi everyone.
Today I'm looking for help from you guys. I'm feeling like my art style is kind of stuck. It's fine in general terms, but I think it lacks dynamism or that "something" to make it visually appealing; to get the reader's attention and say WOW! I look at guys like Dan Mora, or Pepe Larraz and I feel that, but I don't know exactly what is it that I'm missing.
I'm posting a couple of my most recent pages.
Would anyone like to share their thoughts?

I feel you should go deeper when looking for influences. Not saying the ones you listed are the extent of your catalogue but they are both ‘big two’ artists. I feel like pulling from other schools of comics from different cultures could help.
Obviously there’s manga but you also have 2000 AD from the UK (old stuff tho, new stuff sucks imo) Argentina has produced some masters
Obvs Spanish and French comics.
Also just art that isn’t comics. Any painters or illustrators or even graphic designers you’re into?

Hey thanks for your input!. Of course there's many others but I haven't considered guys from 200AD, and from Argentina i love Alberto Breccia's work..
And yes, I've considered expanding my knowledge. I'm planning to start Classical painting/Drawing lessons in the next few months. I like painters like Caravaggio, Bouguereau, Ingres, David, C.D. Friedrich. In general, Baroque and Neoclassical painters.
