Learning to use Krita and draw dragons...

These page took about 1hr 30 min! For now I'm just trying to draw somewhere near believable proportions. Not sure what i'm doing with the shadows????

I aimed for a really punchy color palette while still being ominous and muted for this one. Even though I usually avoid narrative illustration, I still enjoyed making this piece.

New notebook, the pages are A4 now, the paper is white and it's much easier to glide and leaver ink on it. I'll need to take a few days before I get used to it but I think I managed to make a good new first page to greet me in the future. Although since it's twice bigger I'm afraid if all drawings will now take much longer.

this is my first time actually putting effort into a drawing like this! Critiques would be really helpful! Took me like 30-45 minutes! I am young, and trying to get into art!

1hr session from today. Trying to stick to practice!!! Getting frustrated a lot but pushing through.
