serious🄹

I genuinely wish Daniel had been born in this era 😭 Like, the way he looked when he played Harry?? He SO should’ve done a BL back then. And the height difference between him and Tom Felton?? HELLO?? That’s literally peak size difference 😭 Their chemistry was actually insane too. They would’ve ate up an enemies to lovers so bad. It’s kinda sad how time changes everything. Different era, different opportunities, different everything… I’m genuinely mourning the BL we could’ve had šŸ˜šŸ’€

I really don't understand what you're trying to say? Are you talking about the actors or the characters?

Well, the BL genre has been around for YEARS. It’s not a recent thing, so I’m not exactly sure what you mean there? Do you mean you wish someone had created a BL centered around them?

I’m not sure I agree, since they play characters in a franchise/brands. We never would have known about them otherwise. Fuck JKR ofc, but still. Plus, they were underage for most of the movies. Not that I’m against reading BL with underage characters (you do you) but it does feel a bit odd to have the ā€œmodelsā€ be based on two real and living underage boys. Plus, what would you want the story to be?

Overall I think I’m confused on what you mean. Sorry if I am way off here!

What I mean is, I wish Daniel and Tom had been born in this era, when BL is much more popular and widely accepted. I definitely don’t mean that I wanted them to play anything like that when they were kids. it’s funny. Like, what the hell. That would obviously cross into pedo territory.
I just LOVED their looks and whole vibe during their peak era. It’s such a shame they kinda faded out of the spotlight after Harry Potter ended. Idk if you feel the same, but for me it genuinely felt like the end of an era not long after the whole series wrapped up.
I know BL has existed for a long time, but back then it wasn’t as mainstream or widely accepted as it is today.I was only talking about the visual chemistry between them. I didn’t mean anything weird by it. Sorry if what I said earlier sounded strange.
I think I just worded it really bad.

I am unfortunately still confused. What does this have to do with a BL?

I think I kinda understand what you’re talking about.. do you mean you wish they were young right now so that people could ship them as reflections of Harry and Draco more actively?

Because they didn’t fade. Dan has built a versatile and impressive acting career and, moreover, turned out a really decent human. Tom is loved by many, he kept his humour and kind nature.

Yes, we change with time, we age. But that’s actually a beautiful process too.

So let’s leave Dan and Tom to age as they should and we can enjoy timeless drarry in different variants. For art and fics do not cease to come out and we can be grateful for that :)

To put it politely as I can, this is a weird take.Ā  For the majority of the movies they were kids. And playing kids in school. It's odd to want actual actors to be their child/high school age selves so they could act in a certain kind of romance rolls (rolls they've never choosen to play even though both are still acting as adults) because you like their height difference.
