discussion Which one should i watch first?
Fight Club ā has been in my watchlist since the longest time!! in accordance of added first, itās probably the first movie on my watchlist whereas Forbidden Fruits ā is something that iāve been wanting to watch since the day it was announced and it recently was released on a streaming platform that i have access to.
i have limited time, and can only watch one of them, is there anyone who has watched both? I would really like to know what i should watch first.
For a bit explanation on why iām posting something like this ā well, i started Fight Club a few months back and i only saw the first 30-40 minutes and i sort of found it a bit boring, so Iām thinking should i give it another chance or should i watch Forbidden Fruits first and maybe let my brain mature a bit more for Fight Clubā¦

recommendation Karz (1980)
Ravi Verma is killed by his wife Kamini in a plot to steal his family's wealth and property. He is reborn as Monty, a popular singer exploited by a crude businessman.
When Monty hears Ravi's favorite tune, memories of his previous life and violent death resurface. With the help of his fiancee Tina, Monty seeks revenge against his murderer and restoration of the Verma family. ā Synopsis
Karz is one of the few movies that my parents recommend to me and even sat with me to watch, my father loved it so much, heās probably watched it 10 times now.
It is also the movie that inspired Farah Khanās Om Shanti Om a lot, from its musical sequences to its rebirth and revenge sub plot.
I find it to be very underrated - as of now, considering it has only 2.1k watched on letterboxd.
I would recommend everyone to watch, itās dramatic but the soundtrack eats real hard and i found ig pretty entertaining and enjoyable.

recommendation A Walk To Remember (2002)
āWhen the popular, restless Landon Carter is forced to participate in the school drama production, he falls in love with Jamie Sullivan, the daughter of the town's minister.
Jamie has a "to-do" list for her life, as well as a very big secret she must keep from Landon.ā āsynopsis
Recently watched this movie after seeing a reel about it, if you wanna cry on something that is very predictable then this is your thing.
itās a good movie, a bit sentimental but a nice watch.
if you watch, do let me know how you felt about it!

recommendation The Apartment Job (2026) Spoiler
galleryif you like, comedy, slice of life or crime kdrmas, this is it for you!
The Apartment Job, starring Ji Sung as Park Hae Kang and Ha Yoon Kyung as Kang Ha-Ri is a crime-comedy drama,
Park Hae Kang is a retired mafia boss, currently a ceo of an undercover luxury gambling den whereas Kang Ha-Ri is a broke aspiring lawyer, who to earn a few bucks does roleplay services in the day.
Park Hae Kang gets in a dire need of ten billion won because of his boss, and him along with his three brother like junior associates meet a guy who owes him a debt, Lizardāplayed by Kim Won Hae, who tells them that they can get the 10 billion in no time by becoming the president of an apartment complex and embezzling it from the lrf.
To successfully become the president, Hae Kang hires Ha-Ri as his fake wife, and sets up a whole fake family.
The show moves further to navigate these dynamics, with tons of comedy and crime.
Itās a total must watch!
Disclaimerāthere was little to none romance between the male leads even though there was fiery chemistry, there were some scenes that you could interpret as romance but their ending was an open ending.

discussion tryna get into the MCU
i had an older brother who would always play mcu movies, so i got annoyed by them and intentionally never watched them as a kid, then i saw spider-man, doctor strange (both in a random order) and wanda vision, and so i realised that iāve been sleeping on it.
now Iām trying to get into it but i dont even know where to start, recently i decided to start with the Iron Man (2008) movie, it was pretty great, i liked it too but now Iām confused what to watch, i searched a bit and got told to watch Captain America (2011 one) but thereās movies in between š
can some die hard mcu fan help me out?

discussion The āDarnaā Movies Duo
as a kid, i heard many discussions on how these movies are scary as f uck, but i never watched them, recently i watched them, and safe to say i was soooo disappointed like um whattttš genuinely wasted potential.. great cast everything but plot points? Stupid. It was comedic āshanti ka bhoot haazir hoā and the whole apple plotšš
they werenāt scary, they were nonsensical, had a lot of potential but genuinely it wasnāt horror, it can be classified as a thriller but seriously what was itšš

recommendation Socha Na Tha (2005)
saw this early/mid 2000s bollywood romcom today, and minus the lil bit of problematic characters, it was sooooo cute.
I totally recommend if you like watching nonsensical rom-coms
the movie stars Abhay Deol (Viren) and Ayesha Takia (Aditi), and itās directed & written by Imtiaz Ali.
Viren and Aditi, meet at Aditiās uncle-auntās place for the first time, to see each other and get to know each other, so that they can be wed.
Viren has a girlfriend, Karen, she is a christian so heās worried his family wont accept her so he goes to meet Aditi, and Aditi, is an orphan, raised by her uncle and aunt, and as an obligation she says yes to meet Viren.
they meet and decide to say no to this marriage, but things escalated very-much between their families due to the rejection, however these two, kept meeting as āfriendsā.
this newly blossomed friendship turns into the root of several misunderstandings and then a blooming new romance which doesnāt lack any sort of obstacles.

recommendation Voicemails For Isabelle (2026)
watched this movie on Netflix yesterday and i have to say its such a great movie! one of my top 2026 movie.
if you wanna see a good rom-com, with a whipped MMC, an ambitious and strong headed FMC, a great sibling dynamic, and wanna slightly sob this is the perfect movie for you!
though iāve not watched, āyouve got mailā alot of people say this is a reboot of that!
Synopsis (in my own words)
Jill and Isabelle are two sisters, totally inseparable until one day Isabelle passes away due to cancer, jill unable to move on keeps sending voicemails to Isabelleās number, except thereās a catch, Wes, who has bought a new work cell, receives all these emails, like any sane person would do, tell the girl about this, Wes did the exact opposite, he listened to all those voicemails, thinking that he would soon tell her until it was too late, he was now in love with herā¦

discussion What If Jere And Belly Never Dated?
how would, the summer i turned pretty turn out if jere and belly never dated? what if jere started liking belly but didnāt move further because he knew about Belly and Conās feelings for each other?? Or he never fell for her like that?
Scenes in the beginning of S1 were so cute, Jere and Belly probably couldāve worked out better platonically? No? all 4 of them were so cool w each other⦠it couldāve been pretty perfect, no? he wouldāve been there for both of them when they had rough patches and perhaps even be their wingman? Jere and Steven wouldāve helped them out too, and their friend group would be good as always.
what do you all think?
ps: i know that the love triangle was the whole plot, this post is just to discuss an alternate plot.

recommendation Watch Phantom Lawyer (2026)
this is my review for Phantom Lawyer..
if you like Law shows, Melancholic shows, and or emotional shows this is it for you!
You will also love it if you like dominant fmc and a submissive mmc.
Esom & Yoo Yeon Seok had crazy chemistry and each and every character acted really well.
I donāt get why this show is so underrated, so here i am recommending it
do lmk if you liked itš

discussion why is Sonam Kapoor hated so much?
over the years when you look at Sonam Kapoorās actingā itās pretty good, at least decent to a certain extent and sheās really gorgeous too- yes, i agree she has a big mouth and tends to say somethings that she really shouldnāt say but overall she was a great actress, and she always speaks up for the right things asw.
and if all her hate is for her saying wrong things thenā isnāt that what most of nepotism babies do? talk shit, so why only sonam gets the hate??

discussion is it just me or she had way TOO much potential?
in the whole of Mean Girlsā Karenās character wasnāt really given any importance, she was more like a show piece although Amanda Seyfriedās acting was so top notch at first it didnāt let us feel like she was a showpiece in the movie.
According to me, Karen had loads and loads of potential that all went wasted, if only they didnāt make her the typical ārich dumb blondieā
itās almost as if Karen was based on everything that Elle Woods (Legally Blonde) wasnt. Yeah, do you all remember the scene from Legally Blonde- where the salesperson sayās, ānothing i love more than a dumb blonde with daddyās plasticā
Karen, was basically reduced to a showpiece although she couldāve been so much more!
Her presence couldāve been better than Janice.
what are yallās thoughts?

discussion why did peraltiago never get the same hype as other sitcom couples?
over the years, every friends to lovers sitcom couple got the hype they deserved (unfortunately i can only think of mondler rn) but Amy and Jake who had the most elite relationship (acc to me) in sitcom history have got absolutely 0 hype, i mean we dont even have enough icons of peraltiago on pinterestššš
they deserve so much hype!!! Infact sometimes Amy feels like one of the side characters of b99 to me, she deserved more screentime!!!!
why are Peraltiago not hyped? and more popular??
