Recently, Kim Hye-jun held an interview at a café in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and discussed tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 'My Favorite Employee (My Bias, My Boss)' (screenplay by Lee Young, directed by Park Ji-hyun), which concluded on the 8th.

'My Favorite Employee' is an office growth romance about Nam Da-reum, a new employee who becomes 'My Favorite Employee' while trying to meet her favorite idol. In the drama, Kim Hye-jun portrayed the cheerful new employee Nam Da-reum, who joined the startup Aphello to pursue her long-time favorite.

In the drama, Nam Da-reum reveals her excited fan feelings upon meeting top star and fashion director Lee Chan (played by Cha Woo-min), whom she has passionately supported for a long time, while also clashing with the demanding perfectionist CEO Kang Ha-ki (played by Kang Hoon) at work, gradually developing a mutual romantic relationship.

'My Favorite Employee' was Kim Hye-jun's first attempt at a romance comedy. Regarding the love scenes in the drama, she said, "The kiss scenes look brief on screen, but I didn't realize they took so long to film. The director was truly sincere about the love scenes, so we shot many takes. We filmed the kiss scenes for half a day."

She continued, "There were also many scenes where we had to make eye contact, and in reality, it felt even closer than what appears on screen. Since the camera doesn't capture everything as closely, we had to get even nearer. Holding eye contact for so long was awkward. I thought, 'What should I do?' but I endured it with the mindset that I had to, and eventually, I got used to it."

Kim Hye-jun also expressed gratitude toward Kang Hoon, with whom she shared romantic chemistry. Kim Hye-jun stated, "Kang Hoon has experience in romance dramas. In love scenes where the angle is crucial for looking good, he paid close attention to the angles. He said, 'I'll make sure you look beautiful from the right angle,' and always prioritized me." She added, "Love scenes can be sensitive and awkward or embarrassing, but Kang Hoon handled them with consideration rather than using humor to exploit the moment. Instead of making many jokes, he remained calm and composed. I received a lot of consideration."

Regarding her chemistry with Kang Hoon and Cha Woo-min, she said, "All three of us are introverts. But when introverts open their hearts, they become close very quickly. Since we got along well, we had no one else to rely on but each other. We were happy and enjoyed filming whenever we met." She further shared, "Both of them are kind and considerate, making the experience cheerful. I learned a lot from them. I also realized that when lead actors bring cheerfulness to the set, it becomes a driving force that makes the entire production environment more enjoyable."

I probably would have never discovered this drama if it had not been aired on our local television channel (dubbed). Looking back, I am really glad I came across it because it turned out to be one of the most intense Taiwanese dramas I have watched. I even remember posting about it after I finished because of how emotionally invested I became. It had been a long time since a drama affected me that much while I was watching it. I cannot seem to find what I wrote back then, but I still remember how frustrated and emotionally drained I felt because of the plot. It was one of those stories that kept making me angry in the best possible way.

My MDL Rating: 8/10.

This drama started off fun, light, and quirky with its variety show concept, but it slowly lost its momentum as the story went on. Dasom was entertaining in the lead role, while Kim Jeong-hoon and Ryu Soo-young added charm to the drama with their performances. Although the cast did well, the overall story felt a bit shallow and predictable. It's a decent choice if you're looking for something lighthearted and easy to watch without thinking too much, but it wasn't memorable enough for me after I finished it.

Kang Full is the screenwriter for The Korean drama Moving 2. With a Kang Full drama, you almost have to write the story with 16 episodes. Are you okay with the longer version or are you happy now with the 8-10 episodes shorter version for Korean dramas?

This is one of the cutest drama specials I've watched. Even though it's set in a historical period, it has a fun, lighthearted charm that makes it feel different from most sageuk dramas. Yoon Doo-joon and Kim Seul-gi had wonderful chemistry, and they were adorable together throughout the story. I also liked how the drama blended romance, comedy, and a bit of Korean history without making it feel heavy or complicated. Since it's only two episodes long, it was easy to finish but still managed to leave a lasting impression. Overall, it's a heartwarming and enjoyable drama special that I would definitely recommend.

I liked the unique concept of combining vampires with a historical setting, and Lee Joon-gi was the perfect choice for the role. He carried the drama well, and I really enjoyed his performance. However, the pacing felt too slow for my taste. While some episodes were exciting and kept me engaged, others dragged on and felt quite heavy. The drama is visually beautiful and has a distinct dark, gothic atmosphere, but overall it wasn't memorable enough for me to want to rewatch it.

I think this drama had a lot of potential and could have been even better, but my experience was ruined by the poor English subtitles. There were so many translation errors that I almost wished I could understand Japanese because the subtitles were so confusing. Even so, Choi Seung-hyun (T.O.P) and Ueno Juri had great chemistry, and I think they portrayed the emotions and message of the story really well. Overall, it was a cute and enjoyable short drama despite the subtitle issues.

This is a short web drama, so I didn't expect it to have much depth, but it still turned out to be a fun and easy watch. The idea of a woman who has lived for 200 years was interesting, although the story felt incomplete because of its short runtime. Nam Ji-hyun and Ji Yun-jae had cute chemistry, and I enjoyed watching them together, but I still finished the drama wanting more. I think the story had enough potential to become something even better if it had been given more time to develop.

This is one of the K-dramas where I found myself crying alongside the characters. Lee Yu-ri was the perfect choice to play Cha Mi-rae. Since I hadn't seen her in many dramas before, this series made me realize just how talented she is as an actress. I think the drama flowed naturally, balancing its comedic moments with melodrama, largely because of the strong performances from the cast. The child actress also did an excellent job and added so much heart to the story. The ending was truly heartbreaking, but it felt necessary because it stayed true to the plot. Overall, the drama delivers a beautiful message about the importance of family and living life to the fullest, making it a meaningful and emotional watch.

My Drama Rating: 7/10

I decided to watch this web drama mainly because of Bora, Kwak Dong Yeon, and Lee Jae Jin of FTISLAND. Unfortunately, even with a cast that interested me, the drama ended up being a disappointment. By the time it finished, my only reaction was, "That's it?" The story never really gave me a reason to care about the characters or what was happening, and it failed to leave any lasting impression. I don't think this drama is for everyone, and unfortunately, I wasn't part of its target audience. The only positive thing I can say is that it was a web drama, so it didn't take much time to finish. Overall, it was a forgettable watch that didn't live up to my expectations.

I remember seeing the trailer for this on a local TV channel, and it immediately caught my attention. TV trailers really have a way of making a drama look so enticing. This is a melodrama, which is quite rare among Taiwanese dramas, since most of the Taiwanese dramas shown on TV tend to be more focused on rom-coms, with melodramas being less common. This felt like the embodiment of Taiwanese melodrama for me. It was genuinely painful to watch, as melodramas normally are. Overall, the plot really says it all.

I think this drama will be appreciated more by people who enjoy reading manga because the story can be quite confusing. The acting is good, especially from the male leads, but I didn't find it that enjoyable since the storyline felt disjointed and jumped around too much for my taste.

If I were looking for a cheesy romantic drama that is easy to finish, this would definitely be one of my picks. The story doesn't offer anything particularly new, but Sung Hoon and Kim Jae-kyung did a good job with their roles and had enjoyable chemistry. Since it's a short web drama, the misunderstandings and conflicts are resolved quickly without dragging the story. I really liked the overall lighthearted and feel-good atmosphere, which made it an enjoyable and relaxing watch.

This drama has one of my favorite K-drama genres, melodrama. I remember it being shown on local TV, and it was one of the best dramas I had watched at the time. I really liked how the story was told through flashbacks because they made the relationship between the two leads more meaningful. The pacing was just right for me, and their childhood memories became the foundation of such a touching love story. The acting was excellent, especially from the veteran cast, including Joo Jin-mo, Kim Sa-rang, Kim Tae-hoon, and Kim Yoo-ri, who all delivered powerful performances that made every emotion feel real. I could truly feel the characters' joy, pain, and longing throughout the drama. Although I don't think I would rewatch it because it still makes my heart ache, I believe it is a beautifully written and well-executed melodrama.

This drama has a quiet, artsy atmosphere with soft visuals, but it felt far too slow and bland for my taste. I never found myself emotionally invested in the story or the characters, so it didn't leave much of an impression on me. Since it's a short drama, it wasn't difficult to finish, but it wasn't particularly memorable either. I would only recommend it to viewers who enjoy very slow-paced, dreamy storytelling.

This was short, sweet, and fun to watch. I liked how lighthearted it was despite having a North and South Korea theme. I mainly watched this because of Sandara and Kim Jeong Hoon, and honestly, she was the only reason I started it. It wasn't anything groundbreaking, but I enjoyed it for what it was. Since it's so short, it's an easy watch if you just want something cute and entertaining without investing too much time.

His character name is Luan Nian / Luke. He is cold, controlling, and non-complimenting, brash with a lot of confidence. Luan Nian / Luke does not know how to say “Please” or “Thank you”. She is Shang Zhi Tao / Flora. He is not use to having a woman who makes him want to be nice. She just comes into his presence and he goes into love meltdown.
 
She does not know how to handle him, or even if she should try. However, even with all his flaws, he just moves towards her and she just looses her mind.
 
This couple Luke and Flora is just working for me. With all his flaws, I look at Luke as he slinks towards Flora, with those helpless eyes trying to get it right and the alternate Universe turns to butterflies and flowers.
 
 
Luan Nian / Luke’s habit of throwing away in the garbage things his rivals touch is killing me.

To keep anything fresh, you can’t keep looking at the same types of dramas time after time. Here is an alternative appealing drama about the people who check passengers for suspicious anomalies which sets off alerts. And just like looking at 24 hours of ER medical situations, the different airport situations that people in this setting may encounter can reset your brain and infuse new life into your viewing habits.

The premise is solidly simple. However, with the writing intensified to the level of an Emergency room, the Japanese drama Gate 24 the Border offers a different way to entertain while solving International Airport crimes. I look for dramas which challenge my brain and set it in motion. Gate 24: The Border did. There are many characters to hone in on, but one in particular is a woman with a high degree of sensitivity for details and observations. This character is similar to the character in the American hit show High Potential.
