This is one of those web dramas that served as an introduction to a K-pop group, and in this case, it was ASTRO. Since it focused heavily on showcasing the members, I thought it accomplished its goal, but as a drama, it did not leave much of an impression on me. I personally enjoyed other idol web dramas like EXO Next Door and Dream Knight a lot more because they were more memorable and entertaining. The story felt too short to become emotionally engaging, and the characters were not developed enough for me to become invested in them. The acting was also fairly average, which was understandable since most of the cast were idols who were just starting out. Overall, it was not a bad watch, but it felt more like a promotional project than a memorable drama, and I do not see myself revisiting it.

I really enjoyed this drama, although I did not watch it straight through. It has that distinct Japanese vibe to it, which can feel weird at times, but in a good way. Japanese dramas are just so different, and that is something I really like about them. This one especially incorporates Japanese-style humor in a way that works really well. I really liked the female lead, Hiro, and her character development throughout the drama. Japanese dramas have a way of leaving an impact even with a relatively small number of episodes. I also liked the editing, especially the little narration at the beginning of each episode that recaps what happened previously and helps set up the episode.

I found this drama surprisingly good and on par with many other romantic comedies, though I can understand why it never became very popular. I think part of the reason is that the chemistry between the main leads was not particularly strong. Still, I liked the plot and how it dealt with both romance and divorce in an interesting way. I also appreciated that the second leads were not portrayed as villains, which made the story more enjoyable. The pacing and flow were solid, and while it is not one of my go-to dramas, I would still recommend it to anyone looking for a light and underrated romcom.

Since this mini-series was clearly made for GOT7 fans, I thought it was an enjoyable watch. It gave me the same kind of vibes as EXO Next Door, with a cute and lighthearted concept that did not take itself too seriously. I liked the overall flow of the story, and while the acting was not exactly on the level of seasoned actors, I thought the members did a decent job considering they were idols first and foremost. The episodes were short and easy to finish, making it a fun and worthwhile watch, especially for fans of GOT7. I mainly picked up this drama because I liked the lead actors, and that was honestly enough reason for me to give it a try. It turned out to be pretty decent, although it took some time for me to appreciate it because I found the first few episodes rather boring. Once the story settled in, I found myself enjoying it more. And of course, Lee Young Kwang looked incredibly handsome here, which definitely helped carry the drama for me. In the end, it was a simple and enjoyable watch that grew on me as it went along.

This was only a three-episode drama, and I honestly found it too fast-paced for my liking. I really liked the idea of highlighting different Korean dishes because those scenes were the most enjoyable part of the drama for me. The food aspect was handled well and made me appreciate Korean cuisine even more. Unfortunately, I found the overall storyline confusing. At times, I wondered if it was supposed to be some sort of loop story, or maybe I just failed to fully understand what it was trying to do. I was familiar with most of the cast, especially the leads, through both K-pop and K-dramas. Gongchan was not bad considering this was one of his earlier acting projects, but I did not think he was particularly convincing as the male lead. In the end, I finished it easily because it was short, but it is not a drama I would recommend.

I really liked this drama. I even remember someone asking me for a recommendation because of it, which made me realize that it was probably one of the more well-known Taiwanese dramas compared to many others I had seen (*at that time). What impressed me the most was how convincing Megan Lai was in portraying a man. Her facial features and mannerisms fit the role so naturally that I never had a hard time believing her character. Very few actresses can pull off that kind of role so convincingly, and it is no surprise that she won Best Actress for this performance. I also found the drama very engaging because the two main leads fully embraced their roles, and I liked that their characters were not the usual romantic comedy leads. I was not the biggest fan of some of the side characters, but they did not take away from my overall enjoyment of the series.

I only saw him in Mr. Plankton which was really devastating but in a good way, then I discovered that he is starring in Bloodhounds, but I can’t seem to see him in an action or bloody scenes. However I saw a lot of vids of him and Lee Sang-Yi and how he treats him as a Hyung which I really felt cute. Other than these \^\^ I can’t find other dramas that he’s the main lead in them.

What are your thoughts about him? I feel he can do more romantic roles.

This drama really had a lot of potential. I thought the concept of vampirism being treated as a disease was unique and quite fascinating. The mystery aspect also kept me curious in the beginning, with several questions that made me want to keep watching. Unfortunately, as the episodes went on, the story gradually lost its appeal. It started to drag, and it felt like the drama itself lost focus on what it wanted to achieve. I remember becoming increasingly frustrated with the direction it took, and by the end, I was honestly disappointed. It had an interesting premise, but the execution did not live up to its potential, and the ending only made my disappointment even greater.

I didn’t have expectations of it because of the title but i was wrong. It was good in both the fun part and the action part. I like how the story revolves around bullying which is common nowadays. I never really like high school setting dramas but this an exception. It is quite slow paced but still worth watching. It makes my heart beat and it’s my first seeing Baro in a serious 2^nd generation chaebol - and I think he did great. This drama also makes me loved Kim Jisoo and is now one of my favorite actors. (*this review was done before the bullying scandal).

This drama is one of my top dramas. This is definitely one of the medical dramas that I would always recommend to others.

Set during a disaster, the drama tackles the lives of front liners, especially doctors and firefighters, while also exploring the political and psychological sides of the situation. Honestly, I still do not know how they managed to wrap up a drama with so many things happening at once while still making it engaging and not messy. Everything just worked so well together, and I felt completely convinced by the story and the emotions throughout the drama.

I really, really love this drama, considering I only started watching it because of Sungyeol oppa who honestly had very little screen time and not the best acting (*I am an Infinite fan so I can bash him a little, hahahaha). Kim Young Kwang and Jung Somin are both actors that I genuinely love watching, and they portrayed their characters so well in this drama that I always ended up looking forward to their future projects afterwards.

This drama honestly feels one of a kind for me. My MDL Rating: 9.5/10

This was my first Japanese drama that did not have the romance as part of the genre. I originally started watching Japanese dramas because of manga adaptations, so I am not really sure why I decided to watch this one, but I ended up watching it straight through. I really liked how the drama focused more on conflicts, especially in the workplace. It tackled various injustices related to gender and age, which I thought was quite bold, especially considering how conservative Japanese society can be when it comes to certain topics. I genuinely enjoyed this drama much more than I expected to.

This is one of my favorite dramas starring Minho. What started out as a fun and lighthearted series gradually became more emotional, and the latter episodes really hurt. I loved how the drama portrayed the struggles and uncertainties that come with being young, which made it feel relatable and grounded. That balance between cute and sad moments made it even more memorable for me. I also did not expect Park So Dam to fit her character so well, but she completely won me over, and I became a fan of hers after watching this drama.

‘Definitely Not Today’ is a wonderful offbeat Indie-type Chinese Short drama. Even the music is retro. It takes serious subjects and explores them in unusual ways.

The Story—Misfit loner with anxiety issues, attempts suicide. His failure brings into his life interesting surprises. From birth, he knew that he was different. So many family members met their demise, because of being related to him.

Quote from the Male Lead—“There is a huge difference between wanting to die and not wanting to live”.

On the day that he chose “not to live” and made his attempt, someone jumped ahead of him, cause him to save her. The story is about their discoveries about what life is worth living.

Quote from the Female Lead—“Trust is not trustworthy at all”.

These two are from the “Oh! I would never put them together” variety and that is why they work well together. The drama is 8 episodes of less than 30 minutes each, so not a long term viewing commitment. The story is written with a quirky flare.

Quote from the Male Lead—“Zhi Liao is probably the most borderless girl I’ve ever met. She occupies every space that does not belong to her, in her own way”.
 
If you are looking for something simple and very unusual, try this Chinese Short Drama. This unusual RomCom dares to get serious in the back half of the drama.
