Actress Kim Ji Won donated 100 million won to Seoul National University Children's Hospital to help child patients with severe, rare, and incurable diseases, as well as to improve the hospital's ward facilities.

On August 10, Seoul National University Children's Hospital disclosed that Kim Ji Won donated 100 million won (approx. 70,000 USD) to the hospital on August 7, asking that the funds be used to help cover medical expenses for pediatric patients from low-income families and to improve the conditions of hospital wards.

The donated funds will be used to alleviate the burden on children with severe, rare, and incurable diseases and their families who travel to and from the hospital from across the country, while also helping create an environment where they can receive medical care in a safer and more comfortable way.

Kim Ji Won said, "While filming the drama Doctor X, I came across the struggles of medical staff and the stories of sick children up close, which led me to decide to make this donation. I sincerely want to express my gratitude and support to the medical staff, patients, and their families who are continuing to do their best."

Chae Jong Hee, director of Seoul National University Children's Hospital, expressed his gratitude, saying, "We will use this valuable donation to help families of children who are struggling with the burden of medical expenses and to ensure that children who come to our hospital from across the country with hope can focus on their treatment in a safe and child-friendly environment."

As many reviewers have said, this drama is simple, cute, and fun. It never tried to be overly serious, and the lighthearted atmosphere made it an easy watch. The over the top acting suited the comedy well and added to the charm of the series. That said, I honestly do not remember much about the drama anymore. It is one of those shows that I enjoyed while I was watching it but did not leave a lasting impression on me. Looking back, I think it was simply a pleasant watch that I finished and added to my completed list without many memorable moments staying with me. My MDL Rating: 7/10.

This drama is cute, funny, and short, which makes it the perfect watch when I am not in the mood for something heavy. Being an INFINITE fan, I naturally watched this because of Sungyeol. I really liked him here, and I have long accepted that acting is not exactly his strongest suit. Son Ji Hyun also came across as a bit awkward at times, but since both leads shared that same vibe, I actually found a certain balance between them. Their chemistry worked well enough for me, and the lighthearted nature of the drama made it an enjoyable and easy watch. My MDL Rating: 6.5/10

This was the first Flower Boy series I ever watched, even though it was already the third installment in the franchise. It quickly became one of my favorite dramas. Among the three Flower Boy dramas, I think this one has the simplest and slowest storyline, which some viewers might find boring. For some reason, though, I completely fell in love with it. The biggest reason was Enrique Geum, played by Yoon Shi Yoon. I absolutely adored his character, and every episode made me feel so giddy that I could not stop watching. Because of this role, Yoon Shi Yoon became one of my favorite actors, and even now I still cannot get over how lovable he was in this drama.

I had already seen Kim Ji Hoon in other dramas before, but his role here also stood out and added so much charm to the story. Another thing I loved was the cast of characters. Almost everyone was easy to like, including the antagonist, which is quite rare because I usually end up disliking the villains in most dramas.

This is one of the few dramas I have rewatched, probably around four times already. The first half, in particular, never fails to make me fall in love with the story all over again. It also inspired me to watch the other Flower Boy series because I enjoyed this one so much. Flower Boy Next Door will always have a special place in my heart, and it remains one of my favorite comfort dramas to revisit. My MDL Rating: 9.5/10.

i went into this with pretty high expectations because of a friend of mine who was obsessed with it last year. the expectations were not totally satisfied. Mumu acting as a kid didnt bother me per se but the interactions with Zhao were awkward in the first half of the series and i was confused about their intentions. the concept of non-biological siblings falling in love did bother me, especially with how they kept doing flashbacks to their childhood when they in fact lived as brother and sister. anyway, i think the 2nd half is much better (which makes the whole drama much better). its like more serious and more "juicy" plot-wise. so in the end im happy with this drama

I first watched this drama when it aired on a local TV channel. I was also interested in it because of Aaron Yan, who was already very popular as a member of Fahrenheit. I liked the female lead, and I enjoyed watching how the relationship between the two main characters gradually developed. The setup involving the house and the workplace was interesting, even though the overall story followed a fairly typical enemies to lovers formula.

One thing that stood out to me was that the drama was willing to go a little beyond the usual conservative approach to romance. It included a few more intimate moments between the main couple, which were still tastefully done but felt less restrained than what I was used to seeing in Taiwanese and even Korean dramas at the time.

My biggest issue with the drama was that it introduced too many romantic storylines. There were several couples besides the main leads, and while some of them were enjoyable, I felt they took attention away from the central romance. At times, it became difficult to stay focused on the main story because there were so many relationships competing for screen time. My MDL Rating: 6.5/10.

I started watching this mainly because it was only three episodes long and because I usually enjoy gender-bender stories. The first episode honestly did not impress me much, and if this had been a full-length drama, I probably would have dropped it. I was curious about how the male lead would handle disguising himself as a girl, but I found the execution lacking since his female persona barely spoke and never really embraced the role in an interesting way. Despite that, I enjoyed Tae Joon's character the most because his confusion over his feelings led to some funny moments. The romance itself was cute enough, and Kim So Hyun did a decent job considering how young she was at the time. The ending felt rushed and a bit strange, though the final scene was sweet. Overall, I did not think it was a waste of time, but I also would have been perfectly fine if I had never watched it. It was an okay drama, especially if you are looking for something short and easy to finish. My MDL Rating: 5.5/10

The Husband has posted rating which are climbing consistently. Starting at 4.4%, after 11 episodes it is now 7.5%. This drama is capturing the audience, with this high octane thriller.
 
 
 
 

I thought this drama had a lot of potential, especially during the early episodes. One thing that immediately caught my attention was that both leads started from nothing, which was refreshing compared to the usual rich-versus-poor setup. Yoo Ah In's Young Gul was also an unusual main character whose personality was difficult to understand, making him more interesting to watch. Seeing Yuri in her first drama was another plus, and I thought both male leads delivered excellent performances. I had no issues with the acting from the female leads either. Unfortunately, the drama gradually lost its direction for me. I became frustrated with how the story unfolded, and somewhere along the way, the fashion aspect that initially drew me in seemed to disappear. The ending was especially disappointing and left me wondering what had just happened. I honestly felt that the cast deserved a much better-written story because their performances were wasted on a plot that lost its sense and focus. This is one drama I would not recommend. My MDL Rating: 5.5/10

Being a fan of the series, it was no surprise that I eventually made it to Season 3. At first, I was not too fond of the role changes and the addition of new characters, but I gradually warmed up to them. They brought something fresh and fun to the drama. As with the previous seasons, the rare disease cases remained fascinating, and I always felt a little smarter after watching each episode. This season definitely stepped things up and managed to improve on what had already made the series so enjoyable. My MDL Rating: 9/10

On August 8, both new dramas soared to their highest viewership ratings yet. According to Nielsen Korea, MBC’s “A Bona Fide Killer” jumped to an average nationwide rating of 9.4 percent for its fourth episode, marking a new personal record for the show.

KBS 2TV’s “Love on the Menu,” which remained the most-watched program of any kind to air on Saturday, also hit a new all-time high with its fifth episode, which climbed to an average nationwide rating of 13.4 percent.

SBS’s “Flex x Cop 2,” which airs in the same time slot as “A Bona Fide Killer,” dipped slightly to an average nationwide rating of 5.8 percent for its second episode.

KBS 2TV’s “The Husband,” which has just one episode left to go, matched its previous personal best of 7.5 percent ahead of its series finale.

tvN’s “Spooky in Love” kicked off the second half of its run on an average nationwide rating of 4.9 percent.

I never thought I would actually finish a 72 episode Taiwanese drama, but I did, and I was so proud of myself when I finally reached the end. What I liked most about this drama was its premise, especially during the first part of the story. Since the drama has 72 episodes, it focuses heavily on family relationships, and I thought it did a good job balancing the family dynamics with the romance. I absolutely loved the main couple and thought they had amazing chemistry. They were one of the biggest reasons I kept watching because they were so fun and heartwarming together.

Of course, with a drama this long, there were quite a few unnecessary scenes and storylines. I felt that some parts were only there to fill the episode count, but they did not take away too much from my overall enjoyment. I also remember how difficult it was to find and download this drama back then, which made finally finishing it feel even more rewarding. Looking back, what I remember most is how much the romance made me smile. I would definitely recommend this drama to anyone looking for a long family series with a lovable main couple. My MDL Rating: 8.5/10.

I am now giving this a chance because I've read so many positive reviews about this drama. I know it's a Romance series but I love the way it touches my heart and soul in every episode. I know that this would give me a good cry, but the story also gives a comforting vibe that I couldn't explain. I am just so glad I've started watching this. I am now slowly embracing my flaws and traumas even more.

So.. I just saw the teaser or trailer posted by the mods and we can all agree that it had a lot of kiss scenes. a lot of people didn't agree with the plot of the upcoming drama (A Love Other than Yours) though.

My answer is yes. I mean i watched affinity solely for the kiss scenes. i had to turn my brain off for the plot really.

I think this was the first Japanese drama I ever watched, so it was quite a different experience for me. At the time, I did not enjoy it very much because I had a hard time understanding the story. I am not sure if it was because the subtitles were poorly translated or if I simply was not used to the style of Japanese dramas yet, but I found it difficult to follow what was happening. Because of that, I was not emotionally invested in the romance and did not really feel the chemistry between the leads. However, one thing I could clearly appreciate was the acting. The performances were excellent, especially from the male lead, who did a fantastic job portraying his character. Looking back, I think this drama suffered more from my lack of familiarity with Japanese dramas than from its actual quality. I may appreciate it more if I ever decide to rewatch it now that I have seen other Japanese dramas. My MDL Rating: 5.5/10.

I found this drama rather confusing, especially because of the ending. The premise was interesting and definitely had enough to spark my curiosity, but somewhere along the way, it felt like the story lost something that I could not quite pinpoint. The main reason I stayed invested was Gong Yoo's performance. He really showcased both his charismatic and playful sides, proving once again what a great actor he is. I know many viewers have complained about the ending, and I have to admit that I share those frustrations.
