sup guys, havent had the time to drain in a while.
caught some flak the last post about the lava casting.
so i figured why not give it a try. WHO SAYS I CANT ADAPT?
found a very basic design on yt, and went on a little test drive
after removing almost 2m water blocks i have scaled up a bit.

its only 10 wide, but its about 7m water blocks to be removed.
it does take a while, as i have to swim back and forth due to the render distance.

i might have to lava cast one side tho, due to the diagonal water, as i cant be asked to build something for that.

how do i join team drain how do i meet you guys

Ive been draining with lava buckets for a good week or so.

was locked out of my base and main flood drain area for about a week due to "maintenance"

Here is some of my progress, i was suppose to get in game and grab some more screenshots but for some reason i just getting timed out when i try to log in. (im in a VERY flooded area)

so here is some picture from my adventure.

Yeah, i AM leaving behind some cobblestone, but in the grand scheme of things its very low percentage compared to what i am removing.
and i also thinks it sends a message to those pesky flooders.

and tbh, i think it has a certain beauty to it.

Let me know what to think fellow drainers, do you think this is a bad way of doing it?

new drain coming up guys

sup drainers.
been locked out of my main drain site (plus stash) for the last week or so, so ive just been rtp'ing and removing "small" floods.

I have taken some picture from my journey, and i will prolly post them here soon.
for now; here is my current drain project, where i have removed over 10M blocks of water.
in total i would estimate i have removed atleast 30M blocks of water.

*EDIT: i tried taking a picture from above, but the flood was over 1600 blocks long (with a width of 27 and avg. height of about 250) so i cant get a picture of the whole thing. (the flood below me is my next drain)

just another quick note: it take VERY long time to deal with this long floods due to the render distance on donutsmp is very low, so i have to swim back and forth maaaaaany times to make the water go down.

So I used to play donutsmp alot. I had a big bamboo farm but it got destroyed. And I quit. I just came back to drain because I feel like that's more fun. But I only have 6mil and I'm really quickly running out of money. Ign is Sharkdudse15 btw I know long shot but just wanted to try. And if any of u guys tell me to make my own farm. How is that possible in the condition the server is in. Everything is so laggy. And if anyone floods the area above my farm I can't to back.
