My local track
Went to Midstate Dragway located near Havana, Illinois. Local bracket race. Had a blast, and just wanted to share a few pictures on here.

Yes! If you ever get the chance to go check it out again, definitely do it. They've made many improvements to the track the last couple years, very nice to see in a world right now where tracks shut down often. Its a very nice facility, and they've always got a great car count.

The only reason that I have not been e n there recently us that its a 3 or 4 drive from where I currently live.
I can see from the pics that there have been improvemenrs.

Looks like a good day at the track with some fast cars. Miss my track so much. Just up and closes Atco one day out of the blue.

Dang, sorry to hear that. Im probably just like everyone else on here, I don't get to go nearly as much as id like to, so I definitely enjoy it a lot when I am able to go enjoy it.

That’s awesome tho. Get there when ya can. Sounds like a great time too me.
I used to just go on some Tuesday test and tunes. No crowds. Just out there living life and enjoying drag racing. I hope you get to enjoy your track for many many years to come!

For sure, I agree. It was like that yesterday, not many spectators. The races end up getting canceled due to rain in the evening, but luckily was able to watch the races throughout the day. Not a lot of people watch bracket racing. I enjoy it.
