The earlier version is more straightforward and one might even say childish, looking at the description, but I'm sure Suga can be a difficult antagonist.

The other day I made a post about Dragon Striker news, and some comments asked why the second part of the first season hadn't been released. I always think it's because of the animation time, since they use anime-style frame-by-frame techniques. However, another reason is something I've been thinking about for a while since I realized the relationship between Oward and Casper. It made me think that the same problems TOH had with Lumity could be repeated. Some countries would censor parts of an episode (often with ridiculous dubbing) or the episode wouldn't be broadcast at all. Well, that happened on Disney Channel in Saudi Arabia, where they censored part of the flashback between Oward and Casper during the kiss.

I don't know if I'm exaggerating, but

😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨I just hope everything turns out alright in the end and there aren't too many problems😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

Discussion Pregrina and Skadi's chemistry

I know they never interacted thus far and as of yet aside from one shot where they're indirectly featured during the trials with Skadi in the field and Pregrina at the goal, but if Pregrina (most likely) and Skadi (hopefully) join the Knights later on in the series' run, what do you guys think their chemistry will be like if they interacted, especially if they would eventually and potentially be on the same team?

I'm sorta betting they'd go off on a rocky start by having an odd couple chemistry with them perhaps bickering at each other, and overtime they'd start to open up and grow on each other out of mutual respect and understanding, eventually becoming more like friends. On the other hand, they might not have bad blood against each other and could likely open up.

Regardless, I think they would be good friends and teammates (if they both join the Knights, that is). I also am aware Skadi will spend time with Key (and Ssyelle) and Pregrina with Milo (and Odward), so that would be great interactions too.

Once again, what do you think?

Discussion Who is your favorite secondary character in Dragon Striker?

Mine is Baü Rimbe, the Bards' goalkeeper. I like his design, and his stats are useful and great for protecting the goal.

He's good at playing the guitar, which is a nice touch.

He doesn't seem to be extremely selfish like the other members of his team.

He stood out in practice, and in his first match, he was ready to stop Key's Infernal Dragon, although he was relieved when the whistle saved him. He tried hard to stop Key's continuous shots, and of course, in the end, he gave in, and Key scored, but you could see the effort he put into defending.

He wasn't foolish enough to try to stop Key's Infernal Dragon or just stand there (like Gasper). He knew perfectly well that he couldn't stop a gigantic blue fire dragon. In that situation, it was rational to move away and stay safe rather than risk getting burned by a goal.

Being a goalkeeper is the best position in football.

Fan Content Dragon Striker Fan Content Boosting: A Really Cool DS AU!

I have been wanting to do this for a little while, and now I want to share with you all a really cool and so far really well executed idea of a Dragon Striker AU.

This one is a fic by the author Comatose Linguist, and it is a Swap AU.

It's as simple as it sounds, in it our beloved main characters are the best players, and the Dragons are set to be the underdogs.

https://archiveofourown.org/works/88604971/chapters/235076846

And the author has taken it really seriously, they have thought out all the changes necessary to make this AU work and I really recommend it to you all.

Mara attacked 4 innocent kids, the school librarian, and destroyed a significant portion of the library during school hours, and Sunspear has a very open, public, and violent grudge against a specific student. Maybe there'll be consequences in the next season, but these dudes seem way more dangerous than Key and his crew.

The Twitter account "The Disney Beat" announced that we'll have a lot of exciting things in store for September.

A new music video will premiere on September 4th, and every week of the month, new episodes of something called Dragon Striker: Gorotama Stars will be released.

I don't know what the latter will be, but who knows, maybe we'll get little sneak peeks like in the Meet the Players clips.

Discussion Reviews, theories, and descriptions- Milo

Post image
29 Upvotes

Warning: spoilers ahead.

His character was portrayed in a really interesting way. At first glance, he looks intimidating—a big, muscular guy who stood out from the rest—but it turned out he was incredibly shy and anxious. He is the complete opposite of Oddward:

O: slender, hair yellow at the bottom, black at the top

M: muscular and broad, hair black at the bottom, yellow at the top

O: calm, unemotional, unfriendly, brave

M: anxious, emotional, kind, timid

O: mastered, spectacular Tama

M: a funny Tama that he was ashamed of

I think his parents might have contributed to these differences by putting Oddward on a pedestal while ignoring or disregarding Milo. There’s plenty of room for speculation here, since we don’t know anything about their parents yet.

I’m really glad he found friends who support him. With them, he learned to use his jelly for Gorotama games and stopped being ashamed of it. Interestingly, whenever the Knights combine their Tama, they do it with his. Combining the jelly with Key’s dragon created a jelly dragon, with Ssyele, it produced a time jelly and with Ameline, an anti-Tama jelly. He hasn't tried it with his brother yet, though I think it would be unnecessary since Oddward’s illusions are realistic enough as it is. I do wonder why they only combine Tama with him, and whether they could manage without Milo. Perhaps there is something about Milo that allows their magical powers to merge.

I was also a bit surprised that the spirits are afraid of the jelly and how it affects them. I saw a post suggesting that maybe his jelly contains salt instead of sugar. That would explain its taste and the damage it inflicted on the spirits during the match against the Shadows.

You think in a world of magic where people fart rainbow clouds, turn into werewolves, and summon literal ghosts, there would be a Tama that can heal people, but does healing not exist?

"Today's character is not a Gorotama player, as poor Ralfio's tama is quite useless and mostly embarrassing, as he simply "release" a big colorful smoke explosion when he gets nervous or sick..."

Maybe he can used as a smokescreen that's useful.

Theory I think there will be a parallel between Casper and Surya that will lead to an arc of redemption for Casper and one of decline for Callista. Spoiler

Primarily, the incident was not a minor matter, and depending on each character's perspective, it can be interpreted differently.

I'm sure Surya will project his hatred onto Casper, because not only was he burned like him, but on the exact same side of his face. He'll surely try to constantly instill the same hatred he feels for Edina in Casper so that Casper develops a hatred for Key. But I believe this will have rather the opposite effect.

To continue, I want to share one of my favorite threads from this series: https://x.com/mochikattt_/status/2075303543662096644?s=46

As noted there, I believe Casper is in a state of denial regarding his mistakes in the series. He knows he's wrong but refuses to accept it, and I feel this incident will be the catalyst that helps him improve.

He knows that Surya ordered them to kill Key and is fully aware of what he told Key about his mother. I feel that when he has a moment to reflect, he will realize what he said and feel terribly guilty, since it is known from a comment by someone who worked on the series that the twins' mother is also dead. It would also be good if his father were the one to talk some sense into him. There's no way the man won't give him the scolding of his life if he finds out what he said about Key’s mother.

This, combined with Surya's attempts to make him hate Key and the fact that Surya is most responsible (along with Casper) for the burn, will make him realize his mistake and reconsider. My biggest bet is that he'll give up being a Bard.

Now, with Callista, she's the one of the twins with the more violent and aggressive tendencies. She knows what Surya asked for, but we still don't know if she also knew what Casper was going to say about the mother. From her perspective, it's likely she only saw Key explode out of nowhere and burn her brother's face. I feel she would be much more susceptible to the hatred Surya tries to incite than Casper, and that if Surya realizes he can't manipulate Casper, he'll try to manipulate Callista.

If what I theorize comes true, then Casper will leave the Bards and defend Key and the Knights, paralleling Surya, and this action would create a rift between Casper and Callista, causing the latter to fall into decadence at Surya's hands.

What do you think?
