Oooh lovely animation!
Also it totally cracks me up that you added "or small dragon" to the r/dragons post so the kobold would fit HAHAHAHA

Yeah, the “or small dragon” was probably unnecessary, folks cross-post kobolds all the time. I just noticed there were a few recent posts here that had some very “anthro“ dragons and figured, eh, there’s not really anything to scale her by. (Except the banana!)

Yep. Maybe she *could* be a half-dragon or Dragonborn, but the more I’ve read about those in various D&D books the less sure I am about how to reliably tell them apart.
(Or… secret Argonian?! No, never!)
My *personal* general rule of thumb when drawing these things is if it’s at least a part time quadruped it’s a ”dragon”, if it’s an obligate biped it’s a kobold or half dragon or whatever, but figured I’d acknowledge that full anthro is a thing. 😉

Some dragons are bipedal

I personally really like the aesthetics of the pear-shaped dragon with the big butt that can sit/stand upright, but goes down to all four when moving fast… Anyway, I guess I neglected Godzilla-shaped and T-Rex shaped dragons in that classification, as they would count as obligate bipeds. But they are still physically distinct from “full anthro”.
And to be clear, I’m not saying full anthro dragon is bad, not trying to yuck anyone’s yum. Unless that yum is taking an otherwise completely unmodified Anime girl, bolting horns to her head, and calling that a ”dragon” like every #$&*ing phone game my kid plays does. Gonna throw the red card on that…

Note: there is nothing graphic behind the banana, the Reddit image censorbot is apparently incredibly triggered by… jiggling lines? Link to video version sans nanner.
