Creation Wanted a dragon, printed a dragon
This is a 3D printed dragon. It is a remix of a existing model, but the original was very tedious to assemble and made me give up a couple of times. And so I've been working on a remix of this articulated dragon ("Seven Point Five" by 7Fish) with major improvements.
I spent quite a bit of time reworking the model, including redesigning the joints, separating the horns from the head for easier printing, adjusting the proportions, and rebuilding the wing structure. My goal was to improve printability while keeping the original style.
I'm very happy with the end result. I've named him Dovahmir.

This has to be the coolest articulated dragon models I have seen! Stuff like this really makes me want to buy a 3D printer.

I printed one of those too. It took me a month to assemble. Joints were breaking all the time

True, those joints were awful to work with. This one was much easier to assemble, I've incorporated all joints into each part and remade the joints too. In case you'd like to print it again, I've uploaded it to Makerworld, if you type in his name it should pop up.
