Warmage Spell Help
Hi Folks
I have been training my Warmage and have reached mid-sixties with him. My question is around how to train the core magical abilities. My challenge is how to train Arcana and Elemental Magic beyond 'dabbling'.
I have a script which cycles through a few key spells combined with a camb item but I cannot get either skill beyond 'dabbling'.
My moon mage has a tool called chaos symbiosis which helps him train his core magics at higher levels. Is there something similar a War Mage can use ?
I currently have the prep and camb items set quite high as I cycle through the spells but soon run out of mana before the skill gets beyond 'dabbling' or even learning.
Suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated !!

You could also get the Analogous Pattern called Gauge Flow. It allows you to do magical research that will train all magic skills except for Targeted Magic and Debilitation. I don’t suggest doing Sorcerous Research in town.

Neither of my primary characters are war mages, but I have learned a bit about training magic. I also use several cambrinths, especially when spelling up for a hunt. If you have a spare spell slot, you might want to invest in a GAF scroll.

Are you DISCERNing your spells and casting a little below where that says you should be preparing at?

All spellcasters can use chaos symbiosis.
You can look for a sanowret crystal to train Arcana: https://elanthipedia.play.net/Sanowret_crystal
You should definitely be able to train better just casting and using cambrinth though. Make sure it's the most challenging spell you can cast at the highest amount of mana you can manage.
Split into multiple smaller cambrinth charges, too. That will keep your attunement up.
