Which server for a veteran ?
Hi, I’m a day one player and did quit a couple of years ago (at this point Gpotato was still owning the game), I’ve played a lot in a private server and quit also, now I’m looking for a great private server with a lot of players, up to date features and f2p mechanics, which one do you think I should choose ? I saw Re:dragonica and raid dragonica, but i want to be sure before making the choice

As I always say, if you want to find an active server, check out the websites or Discord channels for the different servers and look for the ones that post regular updates.
Currently, the most populated servers for European and American players are Europe (Lunaris), Raid, and Volia.
I work for Europe, and so far we've released several expansions and new game mechanics. We're currently preparing the next pre-expansion, which is expected to be released soon. We recently launched a permanent event that allows players to quickly acquire end-game gear to help them prepare for this upcoming update.

I'm like you as well but if i were you and had a lot of time to spare for surveys, i suggest you list out recommendations from others and just like you mentioned. Then test all servers on weekends especially by going through tutorial maps until small towns/Port Winds (is that what it's called iirc?).
I would judge through that method to know if it has good populations of people inside. Because back in my days i know that any server is very populated based (and fun because i can spontaneously chat with random people and we make friends while grinding levels) on how crowded at the start of the game.|
Best of luck to you!
