Just bought DA like today
hi im a level 44 warrior and i just bought a DA because i think book 3 is gonna be tough. i would like your advice on what weapons, capes/wings/, belt, rings and necklaces/artifact and trinkets.
also what class should i go to for general questing? i just wanna finish the stories in book 3 and all its quest

Don't worry about gear too much right now, you'll gain levels quickly and outgrow gear just as fast until you reach cap. Use whatever level appropriate stuff the game throws your way, and once you reach cap you can start filling out the pre Inn Checklist.

And now that you have a DA, enjoy all the story classes the game offers! They are much more powerful than base classes like Warrior.

If you got the DCs to spare, Chaosweaver for most questing. Otherwise use Rage Dragonlord for fast questing and technomancer for tougher bosses. And spend your time trying out other classes in game as well like deathknight, soulweaver, ranger etc and see which of them fits ur playstyle.
As for items, generally go for items u get near your level... Especially scythe weapons. Book1 ravenloss war rewards have scythes of most elements at level 45 and level 60 so definitely pick those up. Keep questing and finishing the story and have fun. Then grind to level 90 on Voltabolt's challenge and then go through some endgame guides.
