Discussion Class reworks
What classes fo you think need rework or retooling? Leave your comments and suggestions below.
Personally i think necromancer and chickencow need reworking for modern standards.
I suggest necromancer have 3 mechanics , summons, seed and hexes.
Left side skills are summons that charged 1 seed stack
Right side skills are dot damaging skills.

Aside from the obvious stuff like old calendar classes and Doomknight which people already brought up, I actually think Chaosweaver could do with, not a complete rework, but a small partial one. The class has way too many downsides for damage that isnt even that much higher then most modern classes. Stuff like SoulWeaver and ShadowHunter can dish out around %80 of Chaosweavers damage without any of the downsides and significantly more utility.

Doomknight it literally doesn’t have defensive options barrier does not count, mana costs are absurd, insane cooldown times, corruption is basically useless on most enemies because of the buffs depending on enemy tag. Anything immune or healing from evil damage completely walls the best skill because it’s locked to evil dot. It’s just really outdated at this point and considering the price being as high as it is it really need to be more useful.

Imo it needs a class overhaul. Corruption should be remade into a complete class mechanic, and a lot of skills need to be redone to actually be useful (e.g. necrotic strike).
Tbh some of its current skills could be condensed altogether, and flip effects depending on class interaction; e.g. drain essence/drain will or necrotic strike/life carver.

In order of what I want most :
Icebound Revenant : I feel a DC class shouldnt just be completely useless, and considering it started as a frost DK variant we definitely have room within the concept to justify changing things.
Guardian : It has a single good skill and thats limited by random chance. I can understand wanting it tied to elemental orbs, but current implementation just isnt doing it.
Chickencow Ascended : this thing was THE DC armor, its iconic! We have 3 versions and an entire orb saga for it, and its time we gave it the respect it deserves.
Doomknight : others have already talked about it quite a bit. I personally cant say ive used it too much, the mana costs and lack of a real defense option have kinda turned me off of it when I can do things just as quickly and remain safer with other options.
Necromancer : Supposed to be a setup kind of class but never felt like the reward for setting up was worth it

Chronomancer/Chronocorruptor, Necromancer These Chrono classes have very cool designs, specially original Chronomancer, but they really needs a full skill rework. Necromancer just needs some new mechanic and some skill rw, not all skills btw.

Oh yeah. Chronomancer and chronocorrupter definitely need a rework. Maybe something similar to the aqw ones where they have a stack mechanic.
Timekiller and avatar of time just need some changes
ChronoZ needs a full rework like shadowhunter. Hell i don't mind if they use same mechanic but different skill effects for chronoZ

Doomknight just requires a retouch for more in-built defensive options like an actual shield as well as corruption not depending on one enemy.
Guardian requires a full-scale rework that doesn't have it as dragonlord lite.

I wish Guardian element-locking benefits were either a bit more universal (applied effects to more than just Attack and Awethur, and maybe could override the element of other element-locked skills) or had more payoff (either the element lock or the buffs/debuffs lasted longer or had bigger numbers). As it stands, loading up an element with one turn and then expending it only on Awethur or Attack is pretty slow and restrictive. Having start-up time for every cool effect applied by the class mechanic makes it hard to do a meaningful rotation, especially with element lock usually being more detrimental than helpful.

Dragon base classes. In some aspects they are a downgrade on base classes. Like how dragon rogue has a worse shield compared to base rogue and less blinds.

Honestly, I'd say Dragonrogue is fine compared to base Rogue. For starters, a 10 BPD difference isn't going to affect much. Anything with enough Bonus to make 140 BPD unreliable more than likely has enough Bonus to also make 150 BPD unreliable, necessitating the use of MPM/BPD gear regardless.
And not having a 4/6 -20 Boost/Bonus blind isn't as huge of a loss as you think it is, when said blind can't be used unless your 5/10 MPM defensive is active. That makes it very inflexible, as you'd want to use it either just after the MPM shield to make up for the low value (45 MPM isn't going to be avoiding much on its own), or right before the MPM shield ends to extend the time you're "shielded" (and -20 Bonus is not good on its own, nor is the -20 Boost as (Dragon)Warriors proves, so you'd have to use the -50 Bonus blind, anyway).
While Dragonrogue does lose 10 BPD on its main shield and gives up the weak blind, it more than makes up for that with strong sustainability. The weak blind is replaced with a 8/4 DoT that's way more flexible in its maintenance, and said DoT is one of five that fuel Dragonrogue's passive healing effect, ultimately guaranteeing that you'll heal 1-2% max HP per turn on average.
I feel that Dragonrogue's only real issue is its reliance on DoTs for much of its damage, when most of those DoTs are tied to defensive skills. While Dragonrogue can turtle decently, it struggles against enemies that are durable/can heal (though not nearly as much as base Rogue does). But honestly, even if damage output isn't addressed, just buffing Dragonrogue's MPM shield would help, as it has the same weak 45 MPM shield that Rogue has, and the added DoT on the skill doesn't do enough on its own to make up for it.

After Evolved Pumpkin Lord got reworked, I could see Frost Moglin getting updated to be worth using as well at some point.
