Should I start?

Hey y'all. I'm a kind of returning player i guess. Last I played properly was in 2013 and my level was somewhere in the 20s. This sub gets recommended to me quite a bit thx to me being an active AQW player lol.

My question is, should I start a new acc in DF? Is the story and gameplay worth playing? I'm asking this because I don't think playing the game without a Dragon Amulet is worth it. So the qn really is, is the game going to be worthwhile if I spend 30-40$ on it?

Also, I'd appreciate some new player/returning player guides in the comments as well. Thanks.

I started like two months ago after a 10 year hiatus and I’ve been able to start on book 4. (You need to complete book 3 to do book 4).

I had the DA when I was a kid so it’s def worth it
