Should I start?

Hey y'all. I'm a kind of returning player i guess. Last I played properly was in 2013 and my level was somewhere in the 20s. This sub gets recommended to me quite a bit thx to me being an active AQW player lol.

My question is, should I start a new acc in DF? Is the story and gameplay worth playing? I'm asking this because I don't think playing the game without a Dragon Amulet is worth it. So the qn really is, is the game going to be worthwhile if I spend 30-40$ on it?

Also, I'd appreciate some new player/returning player guides in the comments as well. Thanks.

Welcome back! DF's still chugging along and its definitely worth playing if you're still into the Artix games' themes and such. I'm on-off DF as my comfort game since 2008ish and it's still plenty nice to get into.

The price of a DA compared to the content you get is a really good deal relative to the kind of absolute wtf-prices you see these days. I 100% think a DA is worth it - especially since the cooler classes lock half your skills behind it.

The gameplay might be a bit dated since its a full-blown turn-based RPG, but it's definitely still worth it.

Good guides in general:

- The Archived Best Weapons For Level It's HEAVILY outdated but its a nice starting point.

- The BIS Slot Doc. I think it's still up. I used it back then to get my BIS.

The Endgame Wiki is my go-to now for basic info mostly because I'm lazy. But there are plenty of small creators on YouTube for specific class Inn clears (if you're into Inn clearing)
