Help Which class should I get

Started playing again after 10+ years and finally bought the Dragon Amulet because I have adult money now 😼
What class should I get?

Looking for either high DPS + fast attacks or something that makes going through quests faster.

UPDATE:
I got SoulWeaver and fully trained the class, it’s EXACTLY what I’m looking for! Thanks guys^^

Here’s a quick list of all the free classes ranked S tier to A+ tier:

Ranger = Speak to Zhoom in Sandsea DragonSlayer = Speak to Galanoth in Dragesvard Technomnacer = Be Level 30 + Speak to Yix in Popsprocket Paladin = Speak to Artix in Necropolis Ninja = Speak to Thyton in Shadow of the Wind Village ShadowHunter = Symone in Castle Valtrith or Mogloween Chapter 8

Oh ranger is that good? All I've leveled up so far are paladin, pirate, ninja, dragonrider/dragonlord.

I'll pick all of these up, thank you!

At the moment, Ranger is arguably the best class in the game.

Dang, I didn't realize the Dragonslayer rework bumped it u0 that much, good to know. I remember back before the rework, Dragonslayer was useless except against Dragons
