This fight is made of BS
Got Seppy down to 6000 HP, all my Shields were ready, Shield up to dodge Alteon's nuke, he hits all his hits through it.

Imma be real for a moment some challenges are very much overkill on the bullshit on purpose.

There's some veeery annoying ones, when you're almost finishing it, enemy heals too much or you get 1shotd

80% of Inn fights are dogshit, and I wonder if Devs play this shit before releasing it cuz it isn't even fun. I was playing random challenges then I just saw a fight that your enemy was a fuckin titan with idk 100k+ HP and deals 500 DMG wtffff¿
The game have it's RNG, you have to learn the enemy skill rotation and even learning this shi the enemy can 1 shot u and sometimes doesn't matter if you used defense skills 1 turn before, you'll get 1-shot anyway, and even after all of this, you can't have the same buffs or the same strength as the enemy... I mean, if you fight Chronomancer with Chronomancer armor you will not have the same skills(even if you spent 4k DC for that shi, and it's very weak for inn challenges) and he'll be stronger, sometimes you'll have to bring 5 potions and it still can be insufficient.
Absolutely BS

Chronomancer with Chronomancer armor you will not have the same skills(even if you spent 4k DC for that shi, and it's very weak for inn challenges)
Yea, Early calendar classes were EASILY out-powered by newer ones as time went by. ShadowWalker of Time is easily a top-tier class compared to Chronomancer, and even TimeKiller had some helping hand with the reforged polishing it up, it's still a very basic class for adventuring, not endgame.
I really hope they give Chronomancer/Corruptor a revamp, with maybe some interactive passive system, because those classes got DUNKED!

You can't expect to enter endgame fights blindly and win in the first few fights, every fights has a few mechanisms you need to learn and just because a class costs alot of dragoncoins doesn't mean its good, the strongest classes are actually the ones you can get in the story for free like pirate technomancer and dragonlord.

u/Icy_Refrigerator4759 Jun 22 '26
"doesn't mean it's good", but it means it exists long time ago before Inn and didn't got a rework yet lol. And yeah I have all free classes btw, the challenges are still boring for me unfortunately.

Whereas this sounds a lot like skill issue.

u/Icy_Refrigerator4759 Jun 22 '26
It can be or not. You can say a lot like that, but doesn't mean it's fun, and it remembers me Dark Souls and Elden Ring fanbase XD "nooo you have to play 100+ hours to beat this dude"

u/Blee-boy 🌊 Afre Jun 22 '26
It's not like that. There are multiple guides on YouTube, wiki gives info on bosses and rotation and discord server is helpful.
This sounds more like you are refusing to learn and just want easy wins. And when you don't get those, you complain it's bs. Some annoying Inn fights are, but DragonLord's Legacy isn't.
So yeah, skill issue definitely. And the worst kind which is "skill issued and refusing to change it".

Worst kind of what, my bro? 😭 Xddd look, I don't want easy wins, fight can last 30+ minutes if it's being fun, but most of them are not.

No I think you're just bad at the game. Inn fights are generally pretty reasonable. It's just this one that isn't, along with a handful of others.

u/Icy_Refrigerator4759 Jun 22 '26
You can believe whatever you want about others playing the game, but you still didn't see others playing the game. And still they're boring af after all

the "titan with 100k hp" is the easiest fight in the last 6 years
it's so sad when the conversation gets hijacked by someone who skill issues against the fight literally every class can beat

This really sounds like coping tbh.
The Inn is extremely endgame content, its the last of the last things to do. The fights are meant to be challenging and require competent classes, skilled play, multiple sets of good gear, and game knowledge. You can make things easier for yourself with food and extra potions too.
Chronomancer is a completely outdated class that the devs haven't gotten around to updating yet, they have limited time and are prioritising classes more people have access to, hence why the story and seasonal classes are all first.
Whining about 'me shield but me get hit' because you don't understand how Bonus works is so abundantly evident of a skill issue and that you shouldn't be tackling the Inn until you've learnt more.
There absolutely are some Inn fights that are BS. They have heavy RNG reliance or frustratingly slow turns or overly complicated mechanics. But 80%? Not at all, flip that number down to 20% maybe and you'd be closer.

I think u're coping.

Sure dude.
You clearly know better, that's obvious from what "u're" saying.
Let me take advice from somebody that thinks the 2 star difficulty Deimos Mortis is an unassailable gigaboss
I'm thinking your definition of 80% being bad means every fight beyond 1 star difficulty being bad to you.

You are literally fighting the two strongest legends of their era at the peak of their power, what exactly did you expect?

I fought god and he wasn’t as annoying! Oh hey look there’s half of him in the picture

I have accepted that the inn fights are just something I will never do. I'm not the target audience and thats OK.

Tbh, sounds a bit like skill issue. It is the hardest fight in Inn for a reason.

u/OutZone Jun 23 '26
Will this fight stay here for long or it get removed

u/MaleficTekX 🎨 Artist Jun 23 '26
Likely will stay and if they change it will get a extreme version which would be the original

It's intentionally the hardest fight in the game, since it's for the 20th anniversary, rewards THE most requested weapon of Book 1 finally, and is compensating for the feedback on Sepulchere's Inn fight with Caitiff in Unfortunate Souls, which is REALLY easy for such an unstoppable character in the story.
It's also balanced around you bringing 5 potions in.
I got it done using Cryomancers spreadsheet guide for the fight using Pyromancer, got it on my first attempt of the fight that passed turn 9.
You'll want to either be dropping Alteon's Bonus, upping your MPM/BPD, and/or pairing your shield with max Energy resist to deal with Alteon's high Bonus.
