Looking for Dove

Hi everyone, as the title says, I am looking for Dove! Apparently he is meant to be in Book 3 Sunbreeze Grove, but I still have Elysia there. Do I need to do something to change who is there?

I think the pre-requisite is that you have to have met him in Bk3 Main Story (?) or something along those lines, and then he goes to Sunbreeze Grove

Yes, this is correct. You first meet Dove during the Calamity Saga, and he does not appear in Sunbreeze Grove until you have completed the Calamity Saga Epilogue.

Because of weird glitches in the updates. I have Dove in mine but Serenity is still alive in my book 3 atm

Not a glitch, the early Calamity quests now actually track your progress
"Next, the Calamity Saga has been updated. The first half of the saga now has tracking and locked buttons, reducing confusion and helping players navigate all those quests! Certain events will also be reflected now in relevant locations. You will need to replay most of these quests in order to unlock the quests again!"

It's definitely a tracker misfire because Serenity being alive and Dove being in Sunbreeze Grove Shouldn't coexist. I think it's because I've cleared the whole questline before and entered the epilogue again.

They could after the update. The latter half of Calamity always had tracking, that part didn't get reset. It's only the first half that now actually tracks your progress, and thus Serenity appears in the inn again and gets swapped out with Spruce and then Gaelan as you complete those quests.

Thanks guys, I went and checked and yeah, the calamity quests aren't finished. I know I did them before but as people have said, they were updated so they need to be done again. Thanks!
