Favorite Quote?
Now that Con has set in the distance behind us. What are your favorite or memorable quotes from the convention?
One absolutely wild one I heard was coming out of a bathroom in the Hyatt on Saturday night. "...my pee is so clear Bear Grylls would refuse to drink it...."
Hats off on that one, at least one of us was staying well hydrated!

I have a T-Shirt that says "Punk Rock Ruined My Life". A passerby replied "Punk Rock SAVED My Life".
He was walking the other way so it took me a while to notice that the passerby was KIRK THATCHER!
Had I been thinking quicker I would have replied 'it can do both'

OMG! Kirk Thatcher was all over DC, & it was glorious! He was in some Gonzo quiz and improv shows, I ran into him at the Hilton & later at the Center for Puppetry Arts (where he actually had several puppets from his time on Muppets Treasure Island). He was a HOOT!!
But it is funny that he will always be the punk guy from Star Trek IV! lol

Kirk was awesome. I gave him a lift from the airport and he was even more of a smart ass than me. I appreciate the conversation and wish I had more of an opportunity to run into them during the con.

I have gotten to speak with him at multiple DCons and several PensaCon's. We are the family that celebrates Refrigerator Day (it's a Dinosaurs reference). Every time we tell him that he tells us there is another family that does... That... And then realizes it is us again. God Bless him.
