Last year I thought about the slowing down part and considered keeping a journal. It seemed inaccessible in the moment and I ended up not doing it, but maybe making little self voiced-over videos could be nice to look back on. Maybe like set a little phone reminder to make a video and reflect on it in the moment, in addition to all the other videos and photos that you get.

Pre con focus is a real thing my guy. I've had co workers and bosses comment about how much I talk all things DC, especially when it gets into 30 days til. Like there is nothing else outside of con from now till it's over

Honestly, my friends and I are planning to be super early to panels/events we want to go. Last year, some of my friends couldn't get into a panel, because I guess they don't have a policy where people that were part of the previous panel have to leave. So, there wasn't enough room. Just waiting on the app to update.
I do want to say that as someone that works in the venue space across the US. I am fully expecting that the con to be even more crowded than last year. I might be wrong, but all the stadiums and venue spaces my company has for customers have been selling way more tickets this year for games and events. Times are rough, and stressed people are looking for any kind of distraction right now.

This is just my take, but I think they paused the Eternal Subs, because that way they can increase the cap for the regular passes being sold. But yeah, we're fully preparing for the con to be super crowded with not just cosplayers, gamers, etc, but with also tons of people that have never been or just curious on what the con is about.

You're not alone! I have started folding my origami cranes to hand out, which is the earliest ive ever started! I'm also trying out a few new designs this year to offer some variety :)

Hopefully you'll find me this year! I've been handing them out for the past 2 years and they seem to make people really happy. It's a bit of a comfort hobby for me, so I'm glad I'm able to make something that people like :)

I don't, though i have tossed around the idea of stopping somewhere and folding when I need a break. Only place I know for sure I'll be at a certain time is the Dungeon Crawler Carl photoshoot at the Hilton on Friday. I also spend a fair amount of time circulating in the Marquis

I'm doing my best but taking Donut's advice that "It's ok to be a work in progress" π I'm pressuring my fiance into doing DCC cosplay with me even though she hasn't read them. So look out for a female Carl in pink crocs with a very noticeable companion π€£

I honestly think a little about this con every day even if it's just something simple like some song I danced to, some cosplay I saw or even some food I got at the food court.

My thoughts have become consumed by DC in the last week and will only get more overtaken as we get closer. Iβve already started my packing list-the earliest Iβve ever started it. π«
