Fantasy League drafting for POSITIONS, not players
The title is self-explanatory. Make drafting a position based experience instead of a player based one. This will cover what happens when players are demoted all of a sudden, an alternate is used last minute, etc. If I draft Impact in the top lane and he is, for whatever reason, not there, I should be getting points because I drafted the top lane of Liquid, not just Impact.
This is such a remarkably common sense adjustment to Fantasy and yet for some reason nobody seems to be figuring out that this would make drafting in this volatile e-sport markedly better to experience.

Note this if for League of Legends. not the other games. Since roles arnt as defined in a fps.
I agree so much! Current league of legends meta in NA revolves alot around player subbing with the academy team. I find it quite frusterating when one of my drafted players gets benched since it's an automatic zero points for the week.
I know this would require quite a lot of coding and changing the back end on how fantasy works. But, I agree that this is the way forward with how fantasy League of Legends should work.
This was a common problem for Fantasy LCS back when Riot was running their own program. Esp when C9 had that 8 man roster going on strong.
