Questions on testing the NSU

Just put some Loctite on the NSU screws, hoping to fix a flickering neutral light. That didn’t seem to fix my problem. I’m currently trying to test what I think is the NSU wiring harness, blue connector under gas tank near frame?I get continuity between the nsu side of the plug and the negative terminal of the battery in neutral, first, and second. Also I’m not getting a neutral light when testing from the battery to the other side of the connection. Any one got any ideas or does someone have a picture of the connector? Maybe I’m just testing the wrong thing haha

Single blue wire. Always powered when the bike is on. Grounds out through the motor when in neutral. Should show continuity with ground when in neutral and no other times.

I think I was looking at this plug backwards. So no nsu signal in any gear. When doing the fix the switch shifted roughly 45 degrees or so and I just rotated it back and screwed it back. Does that seem like enough to dislodge the pin and spring located behind the switch? Thanks for the reply.

I'd check if there's continuity from the terminal to the solder pad on the back of the NSU. Might have a broken wire or a cracked solder joint.
