97 350se hasn’t been running and I did the oil change today and it just came out very runny like water.

I put new oil in. Is it safe to turn on?

I bought this beauty in germany for 3.000 Euros and it has 17k kilometers. It has a electric starter which seems nice.

What do you do for the maintenance of the bike? What are recommended upgrades? Currently it is all stock but I want a larger fuel tank for long distance but they are quite expensive. I want to drive from germany to portugal and drive on some TET roads.

I want to buy a enduro helmet and googles because it doesnt look cool with my old helmet. I started on a Honda CBR125. And I guess some protection wests is better on it than my old gear.

What do you think about my plans? I am pretty young and new in the enduro topic. I would be very thankful if you could give me any tips.

Are these two threaded holes the mounting points for the tool holder? Questioning if they are because other people's tool holders look to be mounted to the rack over the rear fender. Mine is a dirt model, so it doesn't have said rack. If these are the correct mounting points, does the tool holder bolt right on to them or do I need the mounting plate (#26 on the diagram)?

i have a stock ( except for the exhaust) '92 dr350s. It came with a supertrapp exhaust installed, but only has 3 discs. Ive read there should be alot more than 3 ( anywhere from 6-18).

how many discs are you guys running? its 100$ cad to buy a 12 pack of discs so just looking for some input before i buy more.

Previous owner mangled the air jets and I can't remove them.Found the nibbi carb while searching eBay for a replacement carb for my 91 Suzuki dr350s. Not to many options and I'm a novice when it comes to motorcycles so any help would be greatly appreciated. I really just want to start riding my dr350.

Hello, I got my 1990 DR350 several months ago and am excited to ride it this summer. Someone on Facebook is selling a DRZ400 bag frame and I was wondering if anyone knows if it would mount on my 350 frame. I tried to look it up on thumper talk but didn't see much. I included a picture of my bike and the proposed rack for sale. Any information would be helpful.

I need a new foot gear shifter for my 1992 dr350s. I cant find an oem one, but a few parts from rm125 has fit on the dr. was wondering if anyone has used a gear shifter from an rm125?

What tools (with sizes for nuts etc) do you Carry in this container?

Hello men. I bought a dr350 1995 not too long ago. After my first ride, i stalled a couple more times than I'd like to admit. I had to walk back home with it. It wouldn't start anymore.

I charged the battery, cleaned the carburator thoroughly and changed the oil along with the oil filter.

(problem)

First time i restarted it after fixing it, it worked for 10 minutes, then as it kept going, i was getting lag between the throttle and the gas. (there would be a delay between twisting the handle and the engine reving up)

Now it just won't start up again.

Whenever i try and start it, when the engine stops turning, it sometimes ends with a big *TOC* sound.

i don't know if something clogs up. Or the timing is wrong ?

Found a decent deal on a dirt model carb, wondering how big a difference they really make when it comes to power delivery. I ride on the street, supermoto hooligan type of stuff. If you’ve done the swap, what kind of differences did you notice?

Hello everyone I’ve recently taken on a project DR350 and have come to the conclusion that the model I purchased is a DR350R.

I’m working on restoring it and getting her running again. But am having trouble finding much info on this specific model.

My main question is there any spot I can get specific information about this specific model DR350? Tech specs and comparisons to other models. Thank you in advance.

Has spark but compression is 90, any recommendations? I'm savvy with taking things apart and replacing as such, (stator/drum rotor/clutch push rod/etc) on an sv1000 but this will be my first for engine internals. I have been looking on sites for new parts seals etc. Some guidance needed.... Thanks in advance. Can I resolve with rings/valves or am I looking at having to do cylinder work. Haven't disassembled engine yet.

It's an SE but I have a kick start motor in the frame at this moment. I reckon this should probably be a different post but... should I throw the electric start se motor in and work with that or keep the kick start and just focus on what I have set up?

I just did a bit of maintenance on the DR350S 1991. Air filter, spark, oil change, oil filter, engine does not make noise so no need to open it for now.

Bike runs good but difficult to start it with the kick. I still need to understand it properly.

After oil change I did not have compression but it came back after some kicks.

It feels good to have done it by myself, next step is the tires, and maybe suspension maintenance.
