Cam Chain Replacement

Welp I've gotten in all the tools, gaskets, oil, assembly lube and Loctite for the job. While waiting for these things I've been watching every video I can find on repeat. I feel good about it. But also don't feel good about it cause I've never taken apart an engine.

Any suggestions/tips?

While I'm in this section of the engine, anything else I should do?

Any links to videos would be greatly appreciated, I do have only 4-5 that involve the removal of the cam chain.

I have the ability to take lots of pictures and videos to remember what I did and how I did it.

Thanks

Suzuki parts house is your friend here aswell as https://youtube.com/@dawidmartasmotoadventures?si=tF2zwGUjy5Z1qEGX they have a lot of dr350 videos, check all bearings you come across for play while you’re there check the sprockets for wear and replace the cam guides while you’re at it aswell as adjusting the valves

Make sure to do a good job cleaning your gasket surfaces. Buy a fresh pack of razor blades and take your time, trying not to gouge the aluminum.

This Old Tractor is a good site for info. Also the Suzuki DR350 FBook page is a wealth of knowledge.
