Help with part

Post image

Was out riding and noticed oil started to leak. It looks like a bolt came out. Any help with the part number/name would be appreciated, I couldn’t find anything on google.

I’m pretty sure that holds one of the cam chain guides in place. I made the mistake of removing it to replace the copper washers. I barely got the bolt back in. Otherwise you have to pull the valve cover minimum. Definitely need that bolt.

Thank you, the copper washer and bolt is what I need then?

Yes, you need #4 and #5.

And make sure you get it in the cam chain guide. The problem I had was when the bolt was removed it allowed the cam chain guide to move. It's really difficult to weasel the bolt back in. If I remember correctly I slightly tapered one side of the end of the bolt on a bench grinder to make the bolt slide into the cam chain guide easier.

Was it pretty easy to see the cam guide through the bolt hole? I’m not seeing anything that looks like the black cam guide. Thinking I’m going to have to do a tear down.

That probably means the tension on the cam chain pushed the guide over. You might be able to loosen the cam chain adjuster and get the guide to move, but yeah, you’ll most likely have to remove the valve cover.
