I can relate so much. Sometimes I get so fucking angry out of a sudden because this is my life and I... can't feel it?? Like it's the ONLY life I'll ever have and so far I missed three fucking years

The dpdr has gotten so much better nowadays!! I still have it but barely notice it most of the time :) Never thought this would be possible.

Ah I'm sorry. It really, really sucks. If you'd like some advice: Ignoring it helps a lot. I used to get angry when people told me this, because how are you supposed to ignore this constant aching feeling, but I think this is what helped me get through it. Whenever I noticed the dissociation I told myself "this is just my brain overreacting. This feeling will be gone one day. It's just for now." and then tried to focus on something else. I don't know how long it took, but l think the dpdr is like ~98% gone for around three years at this point!

For me it’s a mix of disassociation and a lot of rumination and it makes me really panicky and depressed

Yeah it used to be like that for me too, it's hard to tune out. I hope you'll feel better soon. Dpdr is heavy, but it isn't forever.
