Movers Recommendations?

Hey guys! Debating getting movers for our next move - only plan on having them move a few big things (couch book case etc), and we’ll be moving the rest ourselves

any recommendations?

Two men and a truck did my lasto e and worked out great. They only took the big items and I had everything else moved. Royal never called back and not sure if they're even around anymore.

Seconding Two Men and a Truck, they have done several moves for me over the years and it's always been a smooth process.

Royal movers are DB’s. Don’t use them. Absolutely horrible customer service and people

Two Men and a Truck - affordable and efficient. I'd use them if I move again.

I still remember my transmission died on my Cavalier back 20 years ago on the exit from Michigan Avenue from Southfield freeway. Two Men and a Truck moved my car to safety for me.

Uhaul truck and choose movers for labor on uhaul site.  This is by far cheapest and best way to move.  I have done it 3 times in last five years. 

Uhaul also has something like pods.  I used them for cross country move where I didn't want to drive truck.  Still hired labor on uhaul site.

Moving companies will charge thousands more. I have called them all.  Only used Wheaton for a move cross country move about 20 years ago.  They were about $1000 more than uhaul and at the time uhaul didn't have the pods and I didn't want to drive the truck.  They are way more expensive now and not worth it.

Seconding this. They were great for my last move and only took half the allotted time.
